> 3 dayI decided to install this in my Dell XPS 9370. It was feeling a little slow on the stock SSD after four years of use. Even after a fresh install of Windows it was still feeling slow. Because of this I decided to look for an upgraded drive. After a lot of research I settled on this drive due to the performance, low power consumption, and price. After installing this SSD my laptop felt like new. Boot time is so much faster and everything is so much more responsive. I’d recommend this drive as an upgrade in your laptop or as a boot drive in your multi drive PC. If you device does support faster NVME standards than it may be worth it to upgrade to the new platinum series from SK Hynix but otherwise this drive is great.

> 3 daySo I didnt do any tests to have any numbers for you, but can tell you that I probably dont need to because the difference is noticeable. Ive installed the same game on 3 different brands of m.2 drives. A Data, a WD Black, and one of these. And everything loads quicker on this one for sure. The WD Black died on me a week after installing it, so even if it was faster on that (its not) I still wouldnt use one of those. This SK Hynix has been working great for several months now. Ill update this in the future if anything changes.

> 3 dayThe SK Hynix P31 gold is easily the best ssd on the market. With performance exceeding its samsung competitors at a better price, you can’t go wrong. I purchased the 1tb version to upgrade me laptop from 512gb and it’s noticeably faster. Also, the packaging is protective and biodegradable, and the Macrium based cloning tool that SK Hynix provides for free is flawless and insanely simple.

> 3 dayMy lenovo Legion 5 came with a 512 GB Sk Hynix PC711, which was an okay drive (See how it performs in the pictures). I thought this was an upgrade not just in storage capacity, but in speed also. That wasnt the case. Dont get me wrong, this is a good SSD. But theres better deals out there. I got it for $93 so I wont complain about price.

> 3 dayI mean, Im coming from a SATA 840 Pro to an NVME drive... of course shes quick. But boot up in under 10 seconds. In Windows fully loaded and done with the background load ups in under 30 from power on? Its a snappy drive.

Greater than one weekThis is one of the most inexpensive SSDs you can buy. While time will tell as to its longevity, the speed does not seem to match the 3500 rating supplied on the box. However, numerous factors outside the SSD can account for this, including the speed of the drive supplying information, and the drive taking the information from the SSD. It is small, compact, and fits well in the enclosure I bought on Amazon for that purpose. I would probably buy this again, although, I think I would want to test it by copying from and to a similar device to determine if the speed claims are accurate.
