> 3 dayYo! It’s your awkward failing gaming youtuber TalesOfArk, here for another random review! I don’t really have unlimited, but this feels nice. This must be how Palpatine feel with his unlimited power. Ah, yes, my storage upgrade from a Khoxia OEM 256gb m.2 to this beautiful 2tb(1.8tb) SSD. Kinda wish they gave me the extra 200gb cuz I’m petty, but oh well. Anyways with this, you’ll feel like you got a lot of storage to store all your game on or if you want to put your main system on like what I did. The way this impact games is by quicken loading screens. This will be more noticeable in open world games, especially big ones. Since it won’t have to struggle as much to read data from the SSD to load it into the world. In smaller game or non-open world, you might not notice as much, unless it’s a really data loading intensive game then maybe. As for install into your PC, I can proudly say it is super easy, even I did it. “But wait Ark! You’re probably a genius savvy pc builder!” WRONG! I built my first ever and only PC in April 2022, and let me tell you. I struggle a lot, took a whole week. I felt like everything could break, I couldn’t even install the stock AMD cooler that came with the 5600x, so I just bought a tower cooler that mention it could be install easily. That’s how bad it was, but this SSD install? Easy! I literally just unscrew the old 256gb and slid it out, and then I just re-screw the SK.Hynix P31 back in same spot, and install a clean window 10 and done! Ez Pz :)

> 3 dayI havent tested this NVME yet, so basing this review on other reviews (hence 4 stars). Its a good product, no doubt about it. However, they put up updated pictures of it, which no longer portray a green PCB, and yet, I received a green one instead of the advertised black. Not huge a deal, but still annoying, because the damn green sticks out.

> 3 dayOne of the better PCIE drives I have encountered, installed inside of a DELL Precision 7520, and its flying along with no issues currently. Defiantly better than the cheaper Inland drives .

> 3 dayThis was listed as high end in the LTT SSD tier list. I already bought this SSD knowing that I was going to love it. SK Hynix never disappoints. Theyve been making RAM and SSDs for the manufacturer market for a long time and now have started selling to the consumer market. Now, Im sticking with Samsung, SK Hynix, and Crucial/Micron for my SSD needs

> 3 daySo my husband told me I should get this to expand my computers memory by double. He said SSD cards are really easy to install. I got this and planned on him to install it. He goes to install it and plugs it into the SSD cord internally, but the computer wont start! He tinkers with a few things and it still wont, so we figured it broke and he removes this SSD card from the SSD slot. A few days later on a whim I start the computer and its working back to normal, without the SSD card in it. A couple weeks later all is still going well so we try the SSD card again thinking it was something else that did that to the computer. Well, same thing... my computer wont turn on, with or without the SSD card in the slot! Im crossing my fingers and hoping after resting a few days again that itll work. The only reason Im not giving this a 1 star is because I decided to look further into the issue this time and it turns out THIS IS NOT A NORMAL SSD CARD! This is a M2 and does not hook up where a normal SSD card does. And my computer doesnt have the proper place to hook a M2 up to. So... if you are thinking this is like any other SSD card, think again. And be very careful if you dont really know what you are doing or you might end up with no computer!

> 3 dayWorks great in USB 3.1 enclosure. But it does not work in Thunderbolt enclosure at all. Actually causes kernel panic every time when connecting to Macbook Air M1. But every other NVME SSD I have works in the same Thunderbolt enclosure so its definitely this SK Hynix SSDs problem.
