> 3 dayIm very happy with my SSD. SK Hynix definitely made the right decision making and marketing their own SSDs after all these years. It does what it says on the tin, and is priced competitively with the Samsung 980 Gen 4 taking into account the fact the Hynix does not include the heatsink. I bought the Sabrent Rocket heatsink to put on it and that fits and works great as well. Image of speed test included, I got over 6,300 MB/s read speed which is pretty darn close to the 7,000 claimed, my PC is a pretty modest system running a Ryzen 5 5600x, 16GB of DDR4 3600 RAM, and Radeon RX5700 GPU so I would have been surprised to get max speed out of it. As it stands I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good M.2 Gen 4 SSD. The 5 year warranty tells you they stand behind their products as well.

> 3 dayI had two Intel m.2 drives in my computer before that could reach about 2000Mbs read and 1500Mbs write. I changed them out with this SK Hynix and a Samsung 990 Pro and the read/write has gone through the roof! Hovering around 20,000Mbs read and 18,000Mbs write is unbelievable!

> 3 dayI love the storage capacity and the read speed of the NVMe SSD but for whatever reason I am unable to get anywhere close to the advertised write speed. It could very well be something wrong with my motherboard or OS config because my other SSDs seems to top out at around the same write speed as well. I tried enabling TRIM on windows 11 and that didnt seem to fix the problem

> 3 dayThis product will be worth the buy for a med-level gaming laptop. I understand some folks will say something different. I like it.

Greater than one weekSimply put, If you want one of the fastest NVME PCIE 4 drives this is it. I installed it in a newer Z790 motherboard and have benchmarked it. It replaced a PCIE 3 Samsung 970 Pro NVME. This one is twice as fast. How that gets perceived in day to day computer use is up to the reviewer but I can say I do notice a slight difference. You can download migration software and drive management software free from SKHynix website. The migration software was straightforward and worked well. The management software is fine but lacks some of the features and polish of Samsungs Magician software. If you own a PC, no you dont really need a drive this fast unless you are a professional of some sort. Otherwise a regular SATA SSD will be cheaper and fast enough. I would recommend this if you want to take advantage of newer motherboards fast storage capabilities and just want to have the fastest drive available at this time.

> 3 dayFar superior than Samsung SSD’s. This SSD blows Samsung out of the water. A lot smoother. Loads faster. As durable or more! Get this right now. This is the fastest SSD you can get in this category. Zoom Zoom!

Greater than one weekThis SSD works great for your ps5 expansion slot and it’s very easy to install. Just make sure to buy a heat sink to combine them before you do. Another thing, for anyone who uses an external hard drive, do yourself a favor and unplug your external hdd after moving all your games because you will run into an issue where it will show that you’re using GBs on your internal ps5 SSD even though your not, and that will clear everything up.
