This is strong. We set this 5 inches from door to allow room for air flow through a small opening while keeping children and pets from going through the door. We forget its there and fling open the door and it has never broken or unattached. Small hands cant close the safety latch. Hard to see if its open or closed from across the room so always double check.

This slider lock seems nice in quality. It’s a sturdy plastic that pos open and has an easy locking mechanism. It’s has good 3M tape to attach to window or door as well. The problem is it’s too thick to slide under the door. We have a regular sliding door, nothing special or low profile. It’s literally the same door you see in most people’s home. This stopper was too thick for the door to slide over it when it was in unlocked mode. I wanted to love this product but can’t as it doesn’t perform it’s function.

I got these to use in my motor home as one of my closet door locks broke. This applied easily and works, it stops the sliding door, it is easy to use. I have also applied to a window in my home for the added security.

Love!! These are great!!! We have one on our sliding patio door and then a couple on our windows on the 2nd story. They are easy to put on. They stick great and easy to flip the plastic part out to keep the door/window from opening. When you put them high enough, kids cant reach or figure out why they cant open them. Great purchase.

I was a little learly because of the low price, but this thing works great!! A toddler I watch was constantly unlocking and opening the back patio door and going outside. Now she cant reach this so she cant get out. I love it!!
