Broke within a week and then jammed the door. Took 30 mins to resolve the jam.

Years back I had someone climb my balcony and push open my slide door to rob us. Although I live in a safe neighborhood now,I just added to this our kitchen slide door which is on the second floor and its pretty solid.

Got the four pack for my double sliding glass door to keep my two toddlers safe and these are amazing, they are strong and something my kids cant figure out as easy as a flip one. Also its nice I can just undo one and still open the door just not as far.

Easy to install and effective at keeping the toddler safely inside. Child Safety locks for doors,Child door locks This was super easy to install, it’s quick to engage and disengage. It keeps the door from opening, giving another layer of safety for our youngest. The older kids who can be trusted can open it with ease.

This was such an inexpensive security lock for our home. We installed them on the gliding doors to prevent our toddler from sliding the doors open whenever he wanted. It works amazing! A full grown adult wouldn’t be able to open the door from outside, it has given us a peace of mind.

So our lock broke on our sliding glass door, and with a toddler loves to run out back,I needed something to keep the door locked. Not only are these affordable, but they are extremely helpful on sliding glass doors and windows. Very easy to install.

These are well designed and have a super strong adhesive. While the directions on the box tell you to just peel and stick in place, its best to clean the surface you want to stick it on first. There are no instructions on how to remove these when the time comes, but just assume that once removed they cannot be reused. I will use them to lock a window open a few inches, and prevent it from being opened all the way. These can also be used on any doors that slide past each other, like sliding closet doors, shower doors, and cabinet doors. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This door stopper is very strong and does exactly what it needs to do. I accidentally put it a little too close to the door and I couldn’t get it to pop down and in an instant when I tried to reposition it, it already adhered. It took me 5 minutes with a butter knife to pry it off of the door and I almost bent the knife. So it is very sturdy. I feel completely confident that it will stop my toddler from opening the door.

I liked the easy installment. It secures my sliding closet doors to keep my cat out.

The house I live in is a rental and I just happen to have a sliding glass door and a four-year-old nephew who knows how to operate it. This child lock ended up being the perfect solution to keeping him inside despite his best efforts. I was worried about the thickness being too much, but after measuring everything out to make sure I had the clearance it seemed okay, so I cleaned off the door, peeled off the backing and just stuck this on. All in all, installation was incredibly simple, and this lock was way better made and sturdier than I had initially expected. The lock does generally require two hands to close easily, but you can do it with one if you really try. Opening it though is very simple and it pops open firmly with no issues. There’s only one setting, so if you want the door open different amounts you could line up a few in the door and use those as successive steps, but I’m fine with just having a lock “closed.” As far as versatility in use? I did try these on some sliding windows but they lacked the clearance to work on mine. It might be different for some folks, but I found this was a sliding glass door only solution. Not a problem really, because that’s what I bought it for, but something to note. Overall? These are great. The perfect way to child lock a sliding glass door with no screws or damage to the door itself.
