> 24 hourWas actually a NC contactor for an old school buzzer using 12v. Many others come NO without the three wires.

> 24 hourI have 2 of these installed on garage doors, unheated space for many years and they have never failed in harsh MN weather, that is why I purchased 2 more for barn doors on a new building.

> 24 hourMagnet bracket works fine on probably 90% of garage doors. Mine, unfortunately was in the 10%. Had to rig up a method to attach the bracket. Would be nice if the bracket was more a of C shape rather than an L shape.

> 24 hourI needed a way to sense the position of my garage door for my remote garage door controller that I am building. Initially thought I could use a simple tilt switch but found it would be more difficult to implement and too bouncy. This is a pretty forgiving switch and works great with my garage door.

> 24 hourVery high quality alarm contact with an all metal body and nice metal wrapped cable. I’ve used many of these in my past job and never had one fail in and industrial or residential application. It’s definitely one of the highest quality alarm components I’ve encountered. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a rugged contact. I’ve paired them with the dry contacts on Honeywell wireless sensors to create a wireless option as well.
