> 3 dayjust didnt work for me... to bulky and couldnt find a way to mount it for what I was trying to do. Quality seems good, although id like them to discuss the quality of the switch since that part is hidden.

> 3 dayThis was needed to replace a failed magnet switch which Id bought about a month earlier to make an indicator light for my garage door. I wish Id gone this route the first time. This item is very high quality and was easy to install as it is made for this application.

> 3 dayI bought this to drive a garage door open warning light in my residence. The sensor is designed to be installed on a garage floor, but I chose to install above my rolling door. This meant that the supplied magnet bracket didnt fit, so I built a custom bracket out of sheet metal. Combined with a power supply and blinking LED, I got just what I wanted for less than $30. There are lots of mechanical reed switches available for far less, but I wanted something more robust so Im not replacing it in a year. Im completely satisfied.

> 3 dayI installed two of them on my garage doors in series with my thermostat to turn off the garage heater when the doors are opened. The install was a breeze (used the black and green for n.c.) and they work flawlessly. The pieces seem to be of pretty good quality, and I assume theyll last for years. These are cheaper elsewhere, but without prime shipping.

> 3 dayI used these switches to put indicator lights in the house so I would know if the garage doors are open or closed. I have used a wireless type of system before, but many times got error message. These wired sensors were installed on top of wall above garage door with magnetic on the door. I wired them to a green light for close and red light for open for each door, using the N/C and N/O contact to turn on the correct light. They worked great and now have a wired system to make sure garage doors are closed.
