Armored cable and included magnet bracket make this switch well suited for garage doors and other applications that may have large gaps when closed. Both normally closed and normally open connections are provided for compatibility with all systems. Ive had one installed for several years with no issues.

Switch can not handle the wattage that it says. First time I hooked it up the reed switch welded itself closed.

Good performer. Magnet will reach over 2 gap and still activate switch.

Used it to replace my ADT floor switch that went out. Was nice having the option to use as NO or NC as I didnt know what my existing switch was. Easy to install and work good. I wasnt going to replace the magnet but this one was a lot nicer so I opted to use it.

Worked great for our duckins (ducks and chickens) coop alert. Wired this in to a solar light such that the light is on at night when door is opened so we can see from the house if the coop door is still open before bed. Well made product and would be good for any outdoor reed switch application.

I needed a way to sense the position of my garage door for my remote garage door controller that I am building. Initially thought I could use a simple tilt switch but found it would be more difficult to implement and too bouncy. This is a pretty forgiving switch and works great with my garage door.

Was actually a NC contactor for an old school buzzer using 12v. Many others come NO without the three wires.

Solid piece of work.. was easy to use to set up mu open garage door alarm/ light.
