Greater than one weekWorks as expected. Used it to automate my garage door with a Raspberry Pi. Now garage door knows position when I give the command to open or close vs just actuate.

> 3 dayUsed in conjunction with a 24VAC relay to turn lights on when garage door opens. Works well. I have purchased my third magnetic switch for indicator light on garage doors (3 doors) this 3rd on I used 120vac through switch to 120vac relay with a 0.3 amp draw. Been on for 4 months and still working well.

> 3 dayI have not installed this yet but I have tested it. It appears well made and functions as I expected it to. This switch has the ability to control two functions with NO and NC positions. I plan to use this for my garage door to tell if it open or closed (we have been known to leave the door open all night). The two contacts will let me have a red light if the door is open and a green light if it is closed without using a relay in my DIY indicator panel. This also lets me know of any faults because one light will always be on. That makes for the minimum of circuitry in the panel. I also found a magnetic switch with the same function for the man door.

> 3 dayWell made. Fast Delivery. I mounted it over my garage door on the wall and the Magnet bracket to the door. Will last forever up there. It has a strong magnet and activates when the Garage door opens an inch. Hooked to to a low volt LED light inside the hall leading to/from garage. Lites the way! And warns if garage is ope.

> 3 dayI bought this to drive a garage door open warning light in my residence. The sensor is designed to be installed on a garage floor, but I chose to install above my rolling door. This meant that the supplied magnet bracket didnt fit, so I built a custom bracket out of sheet metal. Combined with a power supply and blinking LED, I got just what I wanted for less than $30. There are lots of mechanical reed switches available for far less, but I wanted something more robust so Im not replacing it in a year. Im completely satisfied.
