> 3 dayYes, theyre a little limited in range, compared to other modules Ive installed, but once theyre set up, they work fine. Thats the other problem: it takes some effort to make these link properly. The first module was a real pain for me. Turns out I was outside the modules range. Once I brought it closer to the router, it connected on the second try. Feeling bold, I connected a second module - after 4 tries. Again, your mileage may vary. Hope so, because I was ready to return the whole mess to Amazon...

> 3 dayThis product works on 2G wifi network and works well. I use the HGN app on my fire tablet to control. The size of the plug is big so if you have two sockets on the wall, you would be able to use only one due to the size.

> 3 dayI ordered the 4pack of Wi-Fi sockets. One of them wouldn’t work. Something was faulty in the button on the socket. So I emailed their customer support shown on the box and got a response within 1 working day. Within a week, I received 2 new sockets to replace the one original and the new sockets worked great. I’ve been using these sockets for nearly 2 months now and they work great with my iPhone and google home assistant to voice command your lights on/off. The set-up and connection to iPhone and Wi-Fi is a bit cumbersome. The directions for setup both written and on the iPhone are hard to follow, lack details like telling you to wait for a few seconds while the iPhone app connects the sockets to your Wi-Fi. It’s happening in the background but it looks like they are not responding. Once connected to Wi-Fi and iPhone, connecting to google home is easy. I gave 3 stars for the faulty socket and combersome setup. customer support is very impressive, it’s just disappointing to get faulty product new out of the box. Overall these are a pretty good value if they all work as expected.

> 3 dayThe only issue I had is my phone wouldnt scan the tiny qr code on the back- I looked at these reviews though and someone mentioned the name of the app you need (HBN Smart). It took me two minutes to set it up and provided hours of entertainment turning the lamp on my husbands side of the couch off and on. We cant wait to have friends over so I can mess with them too

Greater than one weekThese are not as easy to setup as the “enbrighten” brand but once you are able to connect one it makes the process of connecting the next ones way easier. Love being able to set the timer for multiple times a day and it works great!!

> 3 dayThe sequence to set up the device with Alexa doesnt quite work like the app says. It needs an extra button click.

> 3 dayThe smart plugs are working fine now but the set up was difficult and the documentation poor. 4 of the 6 plugs would not work with their Auto Scan set up and had to be added manually. That wasnt difficult but the documentation was not good so there was some trial and error. Also, where you have to select the model of smart plug there are about 8-10 choices and none of the info listed matched what was printed on the plugs. Again, poor documentation, mismatched information. Two phones could not scan the QR codes on the devices so that was not an option for set up. Needs work.

Greater than one weekI ordered 4 smart plugs. 3 easily paired and were operational in minutes. The 4th would not pair. I contacted CS and was told company would immediately replace the defective plug. They did X2! 2 new plugs arrived and are doing just what need them to do. Thank you, Dianna!

> 3 dayOK, I have not tried to make this work, but I am already lost. The first instruction in the tiny, confusingly layout manual that I was reading (with a magnifying glass) is: if you cant read (this tiny) manual, to go online and download the manual in pdf. I did that, and after 10 minutes of searching the site found a video on how to make this thing work. WOW! I cant hear as fast as the instructor is talking. Understand, I have been in the electronics field for 40 years. But this video is baffling. It shows things so fast that I gave up watching it. I will try to read the manual and update my review soon. UPDATE: OK, I downloaded and started reading the pdf manual. Set up was not as bad as I anticipated. I downloaded the third party app then linked with the Alexa Skill app. Things work fine. My biggest complaint is that shape of the plug. It can only fit one plug into a dual outlet - and it is surprising how many outlets are oriented the wrong way for using the plug.

Greater than one weekI bought this plug because I don’t like stretching behind my rotating tree to turn my Christmas tree lights on and off. What an incredible invention. You just download the app and link the plug to your Alexa with very easy step by step guide and then just ask your Alexa to turn on the Christmas tree! Amazing! The app also has a timer where you can set the tree to turn on and off at specific times. I have mine come on in the morning while I get ready for work and then turn off during the day, then it turns on again in the evening and turns off at night. This plug could work virtually anything! Highly recommend! I bought one for my mother as well, she thinks it is amazing and shows all her friends that come over. She has asked for another one for Christmas for other things in her home.
