> 3 dayVery nice mat for soldering. Definitely heat resistant. Not just a thin piece of silicone. Large enough to work on most boards. Compartments are very shallow (1-2mm), which is good as I wanted something to seperate components yet not be getting in my way. No odor. Would definitely recommend.

Greater than one weekUsed one time with small wood burner and this happened. I thought it said heat resistant but I guess I misunderstood.

> 3 dayI use mine for soldering mostly but have learned to use it for everything small so it doesnt end up lost. The silicone is very high grade. Soft supple and lays flat. Accidentally had the iron fall onto it and wasnt noticed for several minutes - no damage at all.

> 3 dayIve been doing a lot of soldering lately. Theres always bound to be some solder going in the wrong place or you put down the soldering iron by accident. So far this is worked perfectly for me. Ive even been using the little boxes at the top to hold screws while Im working. Very happy with this purchase.

> 3 daysmells nice, didnt melt or burn at 500c when soldering, the desk underneath started smoking so use caution with that.

> 3 dayI dont know how heat resistant this mat is since I havent tested it with the tip of my soldering iron. However, it holds my projects and keeps separated most of the various screws, nuts, bolts, and other stuff for my tasks and purposes.

> 3 dayThis is probably an excellent mat for jewelry and wood and crafts. Its probably good for electrical work as well. But this is not for electronics. This mat creates an enormous amount of static. I dont even think it has an anti-static rating or a strap. This simply should not be advertised for electronics.
