I have other headphone such as beatS and this one out perform it all with the sound quality.

with these , im able to cancel out my roommates loud voice in our living room and better concentrate on my work. Besides the noise cancelling mode theres also an ambient sound on mode, and ambient sound off. But I mostly use the noise cancelling because all of the noises in my house and from outside cam get annoying when Im trying to concentrate. A+ rating for students and office workers imo

My husband breaks his headphones at least once a year, usually after a couple months or less of use. These have lasted him over a year now and are just now starting to have troubles charging. He also uses them CONSTANTLY, and for running long distances so that’s impressive.

The mic is not that good. Everything else, superb!

I have another pair of Bose QC35 and bought these for my wife (27 hour flight ahead of her)... the sound is great, plus noise cancelling.

These broke after 6 months and Sony USA will not provide a warranty nor will the seller because it is an International Version. Do not buy these. The software is glitchy and they will not charge in the end. There are plenty of videos about the charging issues with these headphones. DO NOT BUY. If you do, dont say that you were not warned.

I got these headphones for my wife for christmas, and I will say these headphones are incredible for the money. Ive never owned a true set of noise cancelling headphones, so I had to try them out! The first time I paired them and turned them on I was blown away. I went to my couch and put my feet with the electric footrest, and I couldnt hear the motor spinning up. The tub was also running upstairs but the noise from that was erased. Cant hear anything but what youre watching/listening to. Perhaps sharp, inconsistent noises will come thru, but I havent been able to experience anything like that yet. As far as comfort goes they are also the most comfortable over-the-ear headphones Ive put on, no weird pressure points or weight. I bought these over the Gen4 version of these headphones, due to some weird smart features of that version and some inconsistent reviews. No regrets.
