Loved the headphones. They are everything you would want in noise canceling. Unfortunately, I can’t use them because after 5 minutes of use, the inside of my ear ( the eardrum area, NOT the earlobe outside) began hurting to a level 3 of 10. After removing the headphones it took more than 30 minutes for the pain to go away. Even the Sony instructions say, “If you experience discomfort...stop using it immediately “. I called Sony. They stated that there have been other complaints of the same issue. Sony case number 04419556. Amazon gave me no trouble in returning the unit. Amazon customer service is the greatest.

Ive owned this for now nearly two years and the feedback is quite simple. If your head is large, this will not be comfortable and the earpiece sliding bridges will break because the plastic pieces holding them in place are very small.

Yes, these headphones are awesome. Sony has far surpassed Bose in durability, sound, battery life.

Ive always gotten mid-range headphones and been satisfied with what they were. Proper expectations likely were key there. These Sonys are on a whole different level from those. The bass is pronounced, but I like the bass a little heavy so Im good with it. The rest of the range is clear and clean. Even with the bass mids and highs clear enough for a good listening experience.

I love the nose cancellation! The sheer amount of bass coming from this is like nothing Ive experienced before! Ive not once had it go below 50% battery while listening for hours. The microphone sucks, but everything else is amazing! Sidenote: the case is good, but the included USB-C charger cable is cheap and short.

I own a pair of Bose QC35s and thought they were the best. Then I got some open-back headphones and was blown away by the depth of sound. When I tried these Sony headphones, I felt the sound was better than the Bose and close to the open-back headphones. However, a significant issue was discovered. You can pair multiple devices (e.g. iPad, phone, computer, etc) but theres no way to switch between them from the headset. The headset seems to stick with the first one or maybe the strongest signal and wont give up the connection *until* you disable bluetooth on the device. Bose do this and allow you to cycle through all the paired devices. Am I going to return these because of this.. probably not but it seems like a massive miss on the design. I hope Sony is paying attention and comes up with a firmware update that includes a switch devices touch control.

I got these as a present and would probably never spend this much money on headphones normally.

Ive only had this headset for a day so take this with a grain of salt but these are by far the most comfortable and best sounding headphones Ive ever worn. Thank the sony gods for that because its not a cheap investment for most people. The bass is kicking, most audio is loud and in your face even on streaming sources like Youtube and Netflix. Theres a slight delay between the audio and whats happening on screen but its really minimal most people wont be bothered. I cant really say anything bad about it Im watching Bumping Mics in bed on Netflix and its super immersive and (hilarious) working great. Only thing I will mention that is a known issue with this headphone is that the headphones can become almost unusable in Cold temperatures without a wired connection. If the weather is below freezing 32F the Touch Pad on the ear cup wont work and it can even cause malfunctioning. So people who live in really cold climates this may not be the right headphone choice for you if you plan on using them outside. Well thats it 4 out of 5 I would give a 5 if they improved the build quality a little bit and fixed the malfunctioning in cold weather, Enjoy!!!
