Greater than one weekIve owned this for now nearly two years and the feedback is quite simple. If your head is large, this will not be comfortable and the earpiece sliding bridges will break because the plastic pieces holding them in place are very small.

> 3 dayDecent headphones otherwise. Relatively comfortable, noise cancellation is nice, sound quality is passable for bluetooth, but their construction is relatively fragile and not something I would count on lasting past a year. USB-C is their biggest differentiating factor, but thats more of a convenience thing.

> 3 dayI tried out these headphones at an airport, and loved them so much I purchased them soon after. Then a few days after I received them, I was in an Amazon retail store and saw them for $20 less (they are also now online for $20 less). I contacted Amazon via chat, and basically got closed down hard form a $20 credit. I could return them and rebuy them again, but frankly its not worth the bother. But we all know that even old fashioned brick and mortar retailers will honor a price within a reasonable period of time. I am very surprised . . . and thinking twice from now on . . .

> 3 dayQuality-wise, this is a really nice step up from the XB950N1 that I use primarily. I enjoy bassy music, and if you crank up the Clear Bass setting to +10 it gives you a really solid, tight resounding bass that is about 95% as strong as what the bass-focused XB950N1 produces (and which actually has better bass than the new XB900N which is also bass-focused) with the benefit of having noticeably clearer mids and trebles. Its more comfortable, and it has superior noise reduction. Why then would I rate it only 3 stars? IT IS UNUSABLE WIRED. Despite being able to plug in with the 3.5mm cable and despite keeping it powered on, all equalizer functionality is permanently and forcibly DISABLED while wired. The Clear Bass? Gone. And theres literally no way to turn it back on except to unplug the wire. I use my headset on multiple devices and I want it to sound identical without fidgeting with equalizers, and to be honest even with fidgeting I cant get it to sound quite the same as simply having the Clear Boost at +10. I shouldnt have to fight the headset just because I want to listen on a PC. The old XB950N1 saves the equalizer settings in the headset and keeps them active while plugged in, so why was this functionality removed? Makes no sense. It ruins an otherwise perfect upgrade for me. If Sony was to release an update to allow the EQ settings to operate while plugged in I would gladly change this to a 5-star rating and purchase two sets of headphones (one for my wife and one for me). But for now, its returned. I need something which easily works on my phone as well as my PC. This isnt it.

> 3 dayThats what it said in the owners manual! And take note of the other reviews that it doesnt perform well in the cold. So where can you use it? At home or at the airport, and thats it? User interface and instructions are very difficult and complex to figure out. Fewer manual control buttons on the exterior means more effort required to make any changes to your settings. Too bad because the noise cancellation was slightly more robust than the Bose 35s that I ended up purchasing.

> 3 dayI tried both the Sony WH1000-M3 and the Bose QC 35 Series II. Overall I like the Bose over the Sony. 1) the Sony gets hot after only a few minutes over your ear. 2) the Bose was more comfortable over the ear for my ear and head shape. 3) Noise cancellation is noticeably better on the Bose. However, 4) the Sony has much more user friendly controls especially for music and calls. Production quality appears to be comparable.
