> 3 dayWorked beautifully first day out the box at camp and managed to boil water ~6-8 times, second day igniter no longer sparks and product is completely unusable and depending on the reseller completely ineligible for return or remediation. I never leave reviews, but best I can do is caution others not to make the same mistake and heed the few other reviews that point at the same problem: the igniter will stop working and you will be left with expensive and useless metal.

> 3 dayThis thing works great- love the self starter option. I had no issues with wind or wet causing a problem. It folds up small and I am able to store it in my pot with the fuel canister. Great purchase!

Greater than one weekAfter reading many reviews I went with the SOTO WindMaster and Im 100% happy with my decision. This thing is great for backpacking. Its lightweight, easy to pack, and performs flawlessly. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone.

> 3 daySoto makes great products and the Windmaster is no exception. Its powerful (11,000 BTUs) and capable of doing so much more than just boil water. If all youre going to do is re-hydrate meals, then this stove is probably overkill for you and you should just get a generic BRS stove. but if you want to do even basic cooking on the trail, then this stove will more than meet your needs. I also really appreciate the regulator on it so you dont lose much efficiency when using it in colder weather.

> 3 dayI took this new stove with me on a kayaking trip to Lake Powell, in southern Utah. For the most part, the weather was nice with only slight breezes, but there were a few days that were significantly windy. On those days, as well as on all the other days, the SOTO WindMaster Stove worked flawlessly! I am very pleased with how well this stove performed! Thank you, SOTO! Five stars, PLUS, for this remarkable stove!

06-06-2025This is GOOD. Serrated legs grip the pan. Ignition hasnt failed not even in windy conditions (always pack lighter regardless).

> 3 dayThis stove has so many reviews out there that I am not going to say too much that has not been said already. Love it. Paired it with an Evernew UL cook set and it can nest in there with a can of fuel. Took a 5 day trip with it about a month ago and everyone like the setup and was impressed with boil times. I came from a BSR and all in my pack group still had them. There is a def advantage with wind and boil times with this. Used one 4oz can for my trip (am/pm boils). The one thing that I had problems with was the igniter. It seemed like it struggled in the cold for reason. Most of the time I just an external infinity in source to not waste fuel trying to get it to ignite. Overall great stove.

> 3 daySo simple, so light, ignitor takes a few tries but had worked each time. Took it on a 2 day traverse of the NH Presidentials and I was able to boil water in less than 3 minutes and also keep it at a super low simmer and it performed well for both functions.

> 3 dayI purchased this so I can heat up some water for my coffee when I am out camping. It works great and fits a small kettle just fine without any other attachments. Had no issues even when I was heating up some water on the windy coastline. Worth every penny.
