> 3 dayMy friends know their pots of water are in danger if I am near. The 4 pot support attachment of the soto windmaster (versus the typical 3 arms also available) is great for people like me. Less spills. The igniter has worked great and everytime. The wind has never been a problem. I occasionally place it in ridiculous places just to test the wind aspect. Mostly used to boil water, I have employed it to effectively simmer rehdrating mushrooms. I am able to fit it into my snowpeak trek 900 titanium pot set with an 8oz fuel canister. Having to pull off the arms when packing is a bit of a pain, but minor. Feels a little top heavy when I use the smaller 3.5 fuel canisters, so I am inclined to use fuel bottle feet with those. My friends have stoves that pack a little smaller, but they also feel more fragile. All in all, Im happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayThis tiny, lightweight stove actually performs better than my others. Boils two cups of water a lot faster than my Jetboil Mini Mo. Faster boiling means your fuel goes further. Weighs almost nothing. I use it with a Moutain Laurel Designs 900mL pot, which is wider than the Jetboil (meaning more surface area on the bottom to be heated). I’ve only used it on one trip so far. My only gripe is the quick burst of fuel out of the canister every time I screw it on. It doesn’t matter how fast I try to get it snug...there’s a point in the threading of the stove into the fuel canister where it squirts a bit out. Enough to see a mist come out of the canister. Every time. Can’t help but think it’s wasting precious fuel. My Jetboil has never done that.

> 3 dayI have been using this stove for 6-7 years. Over the years I have purchased thousands of camping, hiking and mountaineering gear. SOTO WindMaster stove is the best and most reliable gear I have ever owned. Ive tested it in every harsh environment you can think of. It never let me down. If youre looking for a solid and reliable stove that works flawlessly, look no further.

> 3 dayHigh quality components used throughout the stove. The windmaster resists to wind and burns very hot. Boiled 2 cups of water in less than 2 minutes with just 1 full turn on valve opening.

> 3 dayAwesome backpacking stove. I like the 4 stand compared to other brands out there. The amount of heat Soto puts out top.

> 3 dayThis stove has so many reviews out there that I am not going to say too much that has not been said already. Love it. Paired it with an Evernew UL cook set and it can nest in there with a can of fuel. Took a 5 day trip with it about a month ago and everyone like the setup and was impressed with boil times. I came from a BSR and all in my pack group still had them. There is a def advantage with wind and boil times with this. Used one 4oz can for my trip (am/pm boils). The one thing that I had problems with was the igniter. It seemed like it struggled in the cold for reason. Most of the time I just an external infinity in source to not waste fuel trying to get it to ignite. Overall great stove.
