> 3 dayI used this at my house and was only able to trace 2 of my 5 coax outlets. On 3 of them it didnt work at all. Perhaps this is because theres a splitter or something in the wall, but either way I was very disappointed that it didnt work. Fortunately, I just played a guessing game and correctly figured out which wires went to which of those 3 outlets, but that was with no help from this tester. Waste of money to me. Update: I originally gave this product one star, but Im now changing it to 3 stars. I talked to a Verizon tech, and he said these types of testers wont work if theres a splitter involved. I cant confirm it, but my guess is that there is a splitter in my walls somewhere. I wont punish this product with a one star review if its not the products fault. Im not giving it 5 stars either. In the end, it didnt serve my purpose, and Im out twenty-eight bucks. I could send it back, but its more trouble than its worth, so Ill just keep it for a day in the future. The one coax outlet that did work worked very well, so I guess its not all bad.

> 3 dayIve been a cable tech for 5 years, Ive lost count of how many toner pieces Ive lost. This is a great kit for beginners or homeowners because it doesnt cost a lot if you lose one or two! Most houses get 1-4 devices installed so this is ideal for my job. If I need to tone 8 outlets, I just do two runs. Works with my old Klein toners as well! This, in my opinion, has a better build quality than the 4 piece Klein toner kit. The plastic is stronger whereas the Klein kit will bend around in your pocket. Great buy!

Greater than one weekThis is the best mapper Ive ever owned. Ive tried them all and found myself repeatedly buying more mappers every year. The one that seemed to most popular was the simple $20* Jonard. The problem with that piece of junk is the batteries dont last a year and eventually you just have to buy a new one because they didnt make it replaceable. This mapper is the answer to that piece of crap. This has equality feel to it with an almost velvet like a grip and a soft button, unlike the Jonard that you have to press very hard and the button itself will hurt your thumb after repeated usage. best of all, you can replace the batteries on this thing over and over.

> 3 dayWorks very well in identifying which line was which, and identifying a wiring problem.
