If youre trying to test coax, or decipher a rats nest of cabling, this thing is essential. Being able to locate and identify 4 cables at once is amazingly helpful. Great price as well.

This is the best mapper Ive ever owned. Ive tried them all and found myself repeatedly buying more mappers every year. The one that seemed to most popular was the simple $20* Jonard. The problem with that piece of junk is the batteries dont last a year and eventually you just have to buy a new one because they didnt make it replaceable. This mapper is the answer to that piece of crap. This has equality feel to it with an almost velvet like a grip and a soft button, unlike the Jonard that you have to press very hard and the button itself will hurt your thumb after repeated usage. best of all, you can replace the batteries on this thing over and over.

It worked the first time I used it and then would not work when I tried to use it again.

purchased to test RG6 coax cables I made after attaching ends to them, I never figured it out, called company and said its not made to do what I wanted to do?.....

I wish the folks who built my RV had used one of these tools. There was a connection that had fallen off of a tee inside a wall and the tool helped me to find and repair the flaw in the initial cabling. Now my aerial works just fine.

If you had an electrician like we had, then you will love having this to chase down your cable connections. Very easy to use and works great. Also helps you find defective wire connections. If you have digital over the air TV and are having issues with the signal, it could just be because you have bad end connectors on your cable wiring. If your wire is poorly grounded or you have poor connection, you will not get a strong signal. Wish I had this years ago after our electrician left our new house with no labels on any of the cable wires...2 wires for every room in the house!!

Good tester, good value, light weight so durability’s more on the hobby class of tools.

Overall a good product for its price. Helpful for tracking down a cable in a mess of cables.
