Greater than one weekI had it in my Mac Pro as storage, not the main OS drive, bought it last June and a couple of weeks ago my Mac started acing up, crashing, freezing...I methodically went through the other discs and this one was causing the problem..... I have contacted their support and see if they can do anything for me....shouldve spent the extra on another Samsung SSD...oh well, you live and learn !

Greater than one weekI put the new 1TB drive in a Sabrent USB enclosure and used Clonezilla to make a copy of my laptop 240GB Windows drive. Swapped out the drive and it works perfectly. 4x the size and at least as fast as the original 240GB drive. This is the second 1TB drive I have purchased from this seller and both are perfect. I will buy more of these in the future.

> 3 dayThe SSD performs really well for the price (400ish write/read speeds), but I would recommend getting a better SSD if you plan on copying tons of data on it repeatedly (+500GB) in one sweep, cause it does throttle down to 20MB-30MB.

> 3 dayThis has made my old Desktop viable as a Retro Gaming Console. My old HDD would take 10 minutes to launch windows and get everything read, then there were some games it just couldnt run because the Disk would be at 100% capacity. This SSD launches windows and has it ready in under 3 minutes, and can run games I couldnt play before. Im pretty sure it would be faster if my 2008 Asus Motherboard werent so archaic.

> 3 dayI bought this as a replacement for a 1TB mechanical drive I had on my DIY NAS. So far so good. No problems with BTRFS and it remains powered 24/7.

> 3 daySo I bought this to replace an spinning disk drive in my gaming laptop. (Im still not sure why companies even bother putting spinning disks in gaming laptops anymore its such a performance limiter and provides unnecessary heat) I bought the 2 TB model and so far its been great. The performance is just not even remotely close its so much better for my larger games like Ark, Conan, Red Dead. Now there is a downside. Once you get through the Cache on the device the write does slow down a ways. Its not terrible but as others have noticed it happens. Still better than a spinning disk though so that is a bonus. Still overall very happy with the price verse size of the drive I can finally bring my gaming laptop wherever I go and not have to much of a performance hit compared to my desktop.
