> 24 hourI bought this because I wanted to try a new craft and had been interesting in lino printing for a while, and this set is really great for that purpose! It has everything you need to make your first stamp! I do recommend buying extra lino, as the kit only comes with one, and if you are anythinb like me, you are going to want to make more ASAP!

> 24 houri should have just bought the items separately. i like speedball but they threw all of their cheapest equipment into this kit and its kind of crappy. same price to just buy them individually and youd get better quality! came with a nice little how-to for printmaking, though.

> 24 hourGood quality but not enough material. You can only make one block print but you have enough ink to make a dozen. And no one is a woodblock artist out of the box. So plan on purchasing more blocks, pads or whatever to practice your craft.

> 24 hourBought this kit for a printmaking class I held, has all the essentials for any beginner. I like that all the pieces are relatively small, nothing too big, so its portable. All pieces were there upon arrival and so far all the pieces are still in great condition.

> 24 hourI decided I wanted to try ink block printing, and this came up when I searched for a kit. Has everything you need to give it a try. I enjoyed it so much, I quickly acquired more surfaces to carve. This is a great option for an intro to block printing.

> 24 hourI bought this to make block prints for my Patreon members. I didnt choose the best paper for the job, so thats where most of my consistency issues are arising I think. I also purchased some extra rubber carving blocks and have only used those so far, so I cant comment on the blocks provided in the kit yet. Ill be trying out the linoleum soon when Ive decided on a design worthy of it. I noticed several reviewers complaining about the carving tool getting jammed - I have not had that issue. I think theyre loading their tips incorrectly. There are two metal pieces inside the housing that hold the tips by compressing the curved end in between them, you need to place the tip in between those two pieces and tighten it, and youre good to go. Its not the most comfy carving tool but it works fine and the built in storage is nice. My only complaint is mainly with the brayer. It doesnt roll super freely, being the snap in style theres a little resistance occasionally, so it sometimes will slide through the ink instead of rolling through it and sometimes it takes extra rolls to get the right consistency. The bench hook is metal and quite nice quality, though I wish it was white or tan instead of black. But it doesnt really matter because you can see the ink texture so black on black is not a real issue. All in all a great starter kit to build off of, certainly worth the $50. I say buy it, but be ready to buy more stuff if you enjoy the process. Im going to upgrade my brayer and get a baren and some fabric ink to round out my kit. When my carving tips get too dull Ill upgrade that tool, too. Happy printing!
