> 3 dayI love this kit! Easy to use, not too expensive. The inks leave some room for improvement, but overall this kit is a great & inexpensive way to start/learn block printing.

> 3 dayWe used this in an art class for students age 10 to 18. They loved it and were able to create some really great art from it. I highly recommend this item and this company. I will be purchasing from them again when I teach the class in the future.

> 3 dayThis is a good kit for a beginner. The paints are water based so is an easy clean up. The rubber block was extremely smooth to carve and fast. The linoleum one, was as expected, it takes more time to carve, but is really great. I liked that I could test both type of materials.

> 3 daySo far so good. The paint still isnt the inky consistency that Im looking for. I am a beginner and I want to produce smooth colors. These are a bit thick. The tools are good, though.

> 3 dayItem came on time brand new, however, I am missing the larger of the two plates that were supposed to come in my kit. Disappointing.

Greater than one weekI haven’t used it yet, but upon opening my kit I soon found it did not have the lino cutters or handle as the box specified. Now I have to make yet another purchase to just begin carving. Pretty disappointed. It was shrink wrapped, and it does contain everything else.

> 3 dayI wasnt expecting anything super great for this kit honestly. I havent done lino in a very long time and sold my tools years ago so I was just looking for something affordable as a start up kit again because buying individual items can become very pricey. The two lino boards are great value. Those alone usually go around 8 bucks each for the 4x6 size, so even if you throw out most of the other stuff this would be a great value for those alone. The roller is a tad cheap, but looks fine. The paints look nice when applied so no qualms there. I also really like the plastic ink well they give you. As long as you remember to clean it right after use so the acrylic doesnt build up and give you an uneven coat. HOWEVER, the carving tool they give you is just awful. The blades come fairly dull. It was hard to carve after just halfway through my first piece, and by the end didnt seem sharp at all. Carving knives for print making are a big pain to sharpen without a few expensive tools so thats annoying. Not only this, but the first blade I inserted in got stuck in it. I have tried everything at my disposal, pliers, a hammer, my husband, EVERYTHING to get the damn thing out and it is just not happening. Therefore, I have to shell out more money to get another tool to carve. I would recommend this to a beginner just because it does have cheap lino boards and some good ink to get you started at a cheaper price than regular sellers do, but you should definitely buy a separate carving tool alongside this.
