Ive only used the rubber clock so far, but it was super easy to transfer a design to the block, and the carving kit was easy to use. if you are just starting out, I found this to be a great kit.

Great set! The cutters run smoothly on the lino, the water-soluble inks make things easier when cleaning and the brayer inks perfectly. Its a must have.

I bought this because I wanted to try a new craft and had been interesting in lino printing for a while, and this set is really great for that purpose! It has everything you need to make your first stamp! I do recommend buying extra lino, as the kit only comes with one, and if you are anythinb like me, you are going to want to make more ASAP!

This is a nifty little tool that conveniently holds its own tips in the handle with some multi use ink and two types of block to test out. Great for anyone just getting into linocut, carving, or stamp making as well as long time dabblers like myself. My last speedball tool like this was much older but the same style handle with tips. It was reliable for years (well maintained of course) unfortunately, it was lost in a move. Naturally, I thought this would be the newer and improved version. Alas, while it is new and arrived in perfect condition, the tips tend to jam and stick in the housing. I have to rip them out with a rubber grip and needle nose pliers or try to not screw them in too tight and hope they dont wiggle out while im carving. Overall, considering the whole kit, its almost worth getting this kit for the ink and blocks then toss the tool and buy a set of non interchangeable carving tools.

This is a good kit for a beginner. The paints are water based so is an easy clean up. The rubber block was extremely smooth to carve and fast. The linoleum one, was as expected, it takes more time to carve, but is really great. I liked that I could test both type of materials.

I bought this kit for my printmaking class. I loved this kit because it included all the basic necessities for making relief prints. The reason for giving a 4 star review is that the carving tool is a bit obnoxious. Its great that I have one carving tool that I can switch out the different nibs. It saves a lot of space, great compact idea. But, once you get the nib in its really hard to get out. I unscrewed it and tried jiggling it out, hell I used pliers risking damaging the tool and it wouldnt budge. Not sure why it is so finicky. Its very dangerous. I nearly cut myself trying to get the tools out.

What they dont tell you is that the ink is NOT washable - so dont even think about using this product on any clothing - like T shirts!

At your first time of rubber carving, this kit helps you. This kit contains essential items, you dont search each item. At the first stage of carving, you can have trial experience of rubber carving with this kit then you realize what you need more. But I think this kit is good for beginner.
