Greater than one weekVery pleased with these drawing pencils. I decided to take up drawing during lockdown and these have been great for that. They come in a tin and are presharpened. They hold a nice sharp tip for a long time.

> 3 dayI want to learn how to sketch so when I looked at all the pencils on offer, the reviews indicated that this is the best brand. When my order arrived and my husband saw them, he said virtually all the students at the art college where he teaches biology use this brand, so I chose well. Ive just started using them and am very pleased. Love the metal container, which will keep the pencils in good shape when I travel with them.

> 3 dayWorks fantastic. Finally a brand of pencil that the lead isnt broken inside every 1/4. Sharpens to a nice point as well.

Greater than one weekGreat quality pencils, with its own set of pros and cons. Use this if you want to make clear consistent lines that you are confident of. Since it is mixed with carbon instead of being pure graphite it not have that shine that appears with regular graphite pencils when you shine light directly on it. But also because of the carbon this makes the pencil slightly harder to erase with than regular graphite pencils. Using eraser on the darker pencils can actually smudge instead of completely erasing so be careful. I recommend using lighter quality pencils like 2H or 4H for initial sketching before using 2B, 4B, 6B, or 8B for drawing and rendering the picture. Useful addition for any artist.

> 3 dayIm new to drawing, but on my many trips to hobby lobby I have acquired quite a few pencils. I like this brand of pencils the best so far. And when I saw that they made a set going from 10H-12B I knew I had to have it. Definitely recommend!

> 3 dayBest set of pencils I have bought so far. I tried many types. Love these. My lead has not broke once from sharpening on the softer pencils. There’s a slight shine still with the softer pencils but nothing compared to cheaper pencils I have bought. I love the long range of variety from hard to soft. The case that it comes in is weak at the hinges it popped off and bent. It’s tin. However the pencils are high quality and I’m very happy.
