Solid, quality piece and a good price. Actually using it as a key for my outdoor wall hydrant.

I have a trim around my fireplace that hides the gas valve and the short key that normally comes standard, didnt fit well at all. This key solved my problem and just makes the valve easier to operate period. Granted youd never want to leave this key in the valve like many people do with the smaller keys but it really shouldnt be left in anyway.

Good design---just what I needed. Ordering was a bit of a guess because it wasnt obvious what size bar it would fit onto. It fit onto my 1/4 bar inside, but I didnt see how it could be used if I had needed to fit it onto a 5/16 bar. Length was just right although it wasnt clear in advance what the 3 length referred to: distance inside I had to reach, distance from inside of the key handle (which must remain outside the hole) to the end of the end of the socket, or distance overall.

Gas Fireplace key was perfect solution and long enough to reach deep gas line. Love the color.

I recently bought a house with a gas fireplace. The previous sellers were nice enough to allow me to buy my own gas key (they did not give me their gas key so I had to buy one haha). After looking at multiple options on Amazon (yes I even look through reviews on a simple item such as a gas key), I decided to give this one a try. The gas shutoff for the fireplace is located in the floor next to it so I was unsure what length to get, opting to go for a longer one to be safe. This product was perfect. High quality and durable. I had no issue using this to turn on the gas after closing on the house. Worked great again to shut off the gas for the summer. Overall, this is a high quality and durable product made with strong materials. If you need a gas key, this is a great choice and will get your job done over and over again without any issues. Note: I paid for this and believe it is worth the price. No one asked me to do this review.

Exactly what I was looking for

I wasnt sure if this would work with my fireplace, but it does! I like the longer handle since my key sits a little behind an entertainment center.
