I bought this for my grandson for a costume and for a collectable item

This has got to be the BEST mask I have gotten! It’s great quality and looks! I love it. I am a 45 year old Star Wars fan and this makes an awesome collectible. As soon as I opened it, I knew I had to order the storm trooper next.

This item looks GREAT! For some reason, official pictures make it look a little off, but on the shelf with my other helmets, it looks wonderful.

This is an outstanding value. Is it movie accurate? Of course not, but Im more concerned about having a great looking helmet that is wearable than something that is movie accurate. Im using this with the rubies supreme costume and consider this helmet an upgrade vs the rubies. Its more comfortable and frankly looks better. The biggest drawback is the mold mark at the very top of the helmet that others have pointed out in reviews, but Im six feet tall as it is an its pretty rare someone is looking down on me in the Vader costume to notice such a thing. At less than 90 dollars you could sand and repaint the helmet as a project if you were bent on making something that was movie accurate without much heartburn. Also, I have a huge head and this fits just fine.

The helmet looks night buuuuut. Helmet has a weak magnet on the inside top center that I’m sure will not hold it if you are planning on wearing it for Halloween. That is unless you are very careful. I bought this for my movie room so it does the trick for me. Price is a bit high for the material they used but there really isn’t anything else out there in this price range to compete with, thus the price. My advice would be to go and find a used one. If you are just a die hard fan buy one and customize it. It has a weird placement for the button that makes the breathing sound,side of the neck. Should have been placed at a point on the triangular mouth piece. But like I said, if you are into customizing you could make this helmet/mask look really nice.

We are all fans of the dark side of Anakin. My adult son purchased this and put it in a nice ikea display case in his room. No, he’s not 35 and doesn’t live in my basement. He’s 18.
