Star Wars Black Series Helmet Action Figure

It has been a dream to have a Darth Vader costume, now after seeing the excellent reviews I bought this helmet. It is almost perfect: assembles easily, easy to put on, easy to take off. Look forward to using it next Halloween. Then only thing I did not like is the smell of the materials but I hope it goes away with time.

One of the best made black series helmet. This Darth Vader helmet comes in 3 pieces that have a lot of nice details included. Even sounds when you open the helmet! For the price this is the best display piece/cosplay item for the money

Masterpiece

This helmet is an amazing deal at $99. It has different SFX for both sections of the helmet, as well as SFX for attaching or releasing the collar. Collar attachments may break over time (that remains to be seen) I actually prefer not having vader quotes/voice distorter and the included breathing effects are done nicely. My only real complaint is the size..Helmet fits me comfortably but I still feel the exterior is too large (Im 6 foot, not quite as big as vader) and gives a bit of a bobble head effect. Maybe Im just used to smaller knockoff helmets but I feel if I was in full vader garb the helmet might still appear out of proportion.

My son had been asking for this for a while. I ordered it for him and he was ecstatic! It’s great quality for the money and it’s huge! Very much worth the cost for Star Wars enthusiasts and collectors.

This Vader helmet is remarkable for the price. With the size and detail of the thing Im just amazed that they can produce it at this price point. Is it screen accurate? Of course not. For that it would need to be lumpy and asymmetrical for a start. Its an idealized Vader helmet, in the same way that the ($199) EFX Stormtrooper helmet is idealized. But to 99.9% of the people seeing it in your display, its a fantastic looking representation of Vaders helmet. Instantly recognizable and passes for a higher end collectible. It looks stunning next to my Anovos stormtooper helmet, and is incredible value for money. The absolute bottom line is you wont find a Vader bucket anywhere near this good for 99 bucks. Or even twice that amount.

Awesome helmet. It is not entirely film accurate, I had to edit the lenses red in my photos. But otherwise the silhouette and build as well as the attention to detail is great on it. Being able to take this apart into 3 sections made for some GREAT halloween pictures. I hope you enjoy them!

It runs small. I fits to me, but too small to close for my husband. I tried to return it, and shipping cost $50, so I decided to give it to my friend.

The helmet is extremely hot. My head was drenched with sweat in seconds. The biggest issue I had was the breathing. No matter which mode it only lasted about 8 seconds. I prefer it be continuous.

At first I was unimpressed with the shape of the face and overall look, but the more I look at it from different angles, its actually not too bad. I own a few high end replicas, including fiberglass helmets cast from original movie molds used for my 501st Legion Vader costume. For the price, this Black Series helmet is pretty good value as a display piece. The electronic sounds are a neat feature, but the activation button is in kind of an ugly and too visible location on the side of the mask. I put it on a mannequin with the rest of my Vader costume, and it looks decent and most people cant even tell the difference between this and my other helmets (which cost hundreds more than this one.) The differences are great, and very obvious, but the average person who doesnt obsess about details usually doesnt notice. Definitely happy with the purchase though, and Ill probably do some mods to give it a more authentic appearance and paint job.
