Star Wars Black Series Helmet Action Figure

Impressed with this considering the price. Nice replica and comes apart screen accurate. Also, like the sound effect when the mask is apart. Would have like to seen a little more metal, but that would also drive up the price. Nice for a collection!

As soon as I saw this thing announced, I knew I had to have it. I had a Rubies Vader helmet, which was... fine. The Rubies mask is cheap think plastic and on the small size. THIS thing, however, is as close to accurate as you can get for $100. Is it EXACTLY right? Of course not. When you have companies who sell screen-accurate Vader helmets for hundreds and/or THOUSANDS of dollars, you arent going to get it spot-on for this price. What you DO get is a lot of really great detail (especially on the inside, which is very cool) and a Vader helmet that will fit by big ol noggin. There are a couple of nits, tho: Not having a voice changer is, to me, a let-down. Also, not having any sound clips from Vader is another missed opportunity. That being said, Im happy I got this and hope everyone who wants one can acquire it as well...

Excellent helmet fantastic quality it does tend to get hot but I found out not using the back neck piece but replacing it with a strong baseball cap with a strong bill and wearing it backwards sorta like a catchers masks works just as good and also it leaves u feeling much cooler

The Black Series does not disappoint, very detailed and 1:1 scale. Another helmet to go with my Boba Fett, Jango Fett and Rebel Leader collection.

Probably the best Black series helmet yet. It is my personal favorite, and unlike others, I am glad that hasbro didnt include a voice changer (because the other ones kinda sucked). Instead they desided to add some pretty cool breathing sounds, and above all the gas release when you remove the mask. It is more comfortable and easier to wear than the other helmets. The helmet itself looks really good (but it is not screen-accurate). This is an incredible helmet and I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Im no SW ComiCon Uber geek - rather a somewhat lay fan who has enjoyed the original movies since 1977. By far, this is the most movie-accurate helmet/mask Ive seen at what is a very approachable price point. Dimensions are accurate, proportions are accurate, and it just commands attention. I took the advice of several others around here and use it as a replacement for the mask to the Rubies Supreme costume, and Im glad I did. When you put the two masks side by side, the choice is obvious. Indeed, with most any costume the mask tends to set the tone. While I may have some minor issues with the Rubies costume, this mask detracts from all of them. Its that good. One bit of a nit here - the button to activate the breathing effects is built into the mask. While useful if this is a display piece, when worn its somewhat inconvenient. I keep batteries in this when I unmask so I can take advantage of the sound effects, but thats really it. A few notes on wear. Its adjustable but that applies to the mask itself, and only so far. The interior dimensions are fixed. There is enough space in there along with a open grille to allow for good breathing, however the lenses sometimes get fogged up. Easy way to fix that...get the anti-fog solution that scuba divers use and apply it to the inside of the lenses. When its all put together and being worn, the lenses end up being opaque from the outside...so the illusion isnt ruined. The breathing grille is similarly darkened out, so the effect is very much movie-accurate. Clearly the designers spent time on these details. Its a fantastic mask/helmet/whatever. Having the collar assembly adds to the realism of the mask and makes it work very well with the Rubies costume. Very good product,.
