> 24 hourI use these on all my small office/home office installs. A switch can fit in here without the space issue usually confronted by the shallow racks that mound horizontally. Sure, the install doesnt look quite as good, but thats the tradeoff for places that want the network closet to be as small as possible.

> 24 hourIm actually using this for a switch and cable management bar sitting inside of a desk shelf on what normally would be its vertical mounting surface; its my mini rack and it is solid enough there is no bend, it sits squarely even though the switch is about 2 beyond its own length, and yet light enough that I can pull out and reach behind if necessary. Solid, even without anything mounted. I love that it does not use pre-drilled screw holes, and my own rack screws fit like a charm. Great value, would buy again; almost bought a second one for a 1U UPS and PDU (but already over budget :))

> 24 hourI used this to vertically mount an IBM x3650 model 7979 on a wall. 4U was a little too much for just that server (I thought Id have more equipment to mount but turns out I didnt). The server plus brackets were about 45 to 50 lbs. and this bracket seems to hold it securely with room to spare.
