> 3 day*Note: Ive owned/used these headphones for several months now Sound quality: Great sound quality. Sure its not the same as fancy noise-canceling headphones... but the quality is still very good and rivals all other standard headsets. The sound quality is at par, but its not the reason you are buying these headphones, keep reading. The wireless connection is flawless: the reason why were not using our fancy Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones with our computers, is because the sound quality leaves much to be desired. If at any point, you have two different sounds coming in at the same time, Bluetooth headsets tend to have issues with this. You get sound cutting out, and in other cases the headset will just completely ignore one of the sources. With the arctis headset, you are wirelessly connected via a USB dongle, meaning you wont face the same issues as the Bluetooth headset. THIS, is the reason why you are buying this headset, and in this department, it performs flawlessly. You will get un-interrupted sound in the same way you would with a wired headset. The battery life is okay: compared to other peripherals that need to be charged, like your keyboard and mouse, the headset will need to be charged far more often. However, its important to note that this is not a product defect. Because the device is outputting sound, its going to naturally use more power and drain battery quicker. With heavy usage youll need to charge the headset every 4 days or so and theres a little light that will tell you your battery status. This battery life is on par with other competitors. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI got the Arctis 7 to replace my Arctis Pro Wireless and the white noise/hiss issue it has. I loved the Pro Wireless and I was hoping it would be similar enough headset wise to use but thats not the case. I give this headset a 3.5 / 5. Be warned that you cannot return this headset through Amazon. PROS: -Build quality is decent but its not aluminum like the Arctis Pro Wireless -Headset is lighter in weight than Arctis Pro -Fit is great and I love the ski goggle design, although my ears hurt after a long days working (9+ hours) -Steelseries headsets look very slick and not flashy or huge like the GSP670 -Retractable mic is a nice feature -Mic quality is good but sounds nasally -Connection distance is great and doesnt disconnect or distort when walking around -Battery life is great with 20+ hours of use NEUTRAL: -Sound quality is not good but not terrible either. You will definitely need to mess with the EQ to get it to sound right unless you like everything flat. Even setting the EQ to get things to my liking, the soundstage felt lacking. The sound signature is not the same as the Pro Wireless, which was to be expected. The bass is weak, which can strangely be remedied on the Pro Wireless with DTS 2.0, but not here. DTS 2.0 on the 7 muddies everything up. The headset doesnt handle higher frequencies well if you turn them up. They sound too harsh and clip. In games, things seemed quiet so I always had to crank the headset volume up. Then when I go listen to music or something else its blaring loud. The Pro Wireless wins in sound quality but has that white noise issue. CONS: -Headset does have a white noise/hiss issue but its nowhere close to the Arctis Pro Wireless. This only happens when the headset volume is set to the absolute minimum or maximum, regardless of the system volume setting. Setting the volume wheel 1/4 to 3/4 of the way wont trigger it. Even then, its not that loud. -Poor EQ settings. While you get 6 bars of EQ control vs. 5 on the Pro Wireless, they are not the same frequencies or normal EQ frequencies that you can control. For some reason, the Arctis 9 gets 10 bars. If you want full EQ control, you need a third party tool. -Like the Arctis Pro Wireless, there is a static sound when I stop/pause/mute audio regardless of media source, type, or volume. For some reason this only happens on Steelseries headsets. I cant recommend this headset if you are serious about your sounds in gaming. I can only recommend it if you are on a budget or dont care about sounds and just want a wireless headset. For me, I ended up going with the Audio-Technica ATH-G1WL which sounds better than both the Arctis 7 and Pro Wireless.

> 3 dayThe headset is just the right weight--it doesnt fall off your head if you dont wear a hat. The batter life and the range are incredible so you arent constantly charging or losing connection as you walk around the house. I have used other brands, but im never changing now unless the quality drops at some point.

> 3 dayI love my Arctis 7s, theyre incredibly comfortable and the sound quality is very good (from a non-audiophile). I wear them almost every workday for the whole day while Im on meetings, in addition to using them for PC gaming. It was plug-and-play on both Windows and Linux, and they have become my go-to headphones for being on airplanes (using the included wire to connect to my phone). The charge lasts for a long time, though I typically charge them whenever Im not using them anyway. They arent noise cancelling, but they muffle it pretty well (I often get snuck up on by my family when I am wearing them). I dont really use the included mic, since I have a better usb mic, but when Linux resets to using the headset mic my coworkers can immediately tell because of the decrease in sound quality. The adjustable ski goggles strap is nice, it makes the headset feel lighter and helps it sit at exactly the right height. That said, the headphones are a bit lose and will fall off if I lean too far forward or backward.

Greater than one weekIve never had a headset that is so nice so it is a little hard for me to compare them to what else is out there but I will say that I really do love these. My main reason for getting them was that I wanted a better directional audio experience while gaming and these definitely provide that. Also huge plus is that they are wireless and that happens to be perfect for me. My chair would roll over the long cord I had on my other headphones and these being wireless is amazing. I can wear them around the house and get to listen to my jams while doing the dishes or even while taking the dog out back (although they will start to cut out in the backyard, they work well out there for the most part). These also hook up to my controller so I am able to use them on my Xbox as well, which is a large part of the reason I went for these. My only complaint would be the wireless receiver and its round shape. Its great that you can hook up a line in or out so that when your headset is off the sound will go through the speakers you have. The downside is that because of the rounded shape, you have to jam the aux cord into the plugs so else it will not pick one or even both speakers and appear that it doesnt work. I checked around and found out on reddit that people were having the same problem. Luckily the material is a not-so-hard rubber so I was able to really (and I mean REALLY) jam the aux cord into the line out so that sound would finally play out of both of my speakers and not just one side. That said, I still give this headset 5 stars because it is at such a good price point and I really feel you do get a lot for your money with this one. It looks great, its extremely comfortable and it is so perfect for what I needed. I dont think I could have gotten all of this out of a different headset for the same price and I am very happy with this purchase thus far.

Greater than one weekThe SteelSeries Arctis 7 is a well-made, wireless, and aesthetically pleasing set of headphones. I originally bought this because (1) I needed a new set of headphones, and (2) it was recommended by a friend. I am writing this review after four (4) months of almost daily usage. AESTHETICS/PACKAGING The packaging of the product and the aesthetic of the product itself is great. I have zero complaints as I have received the package in brand-new condition. I absolutely love the white colour of the headphones -- it is sleek, matte, and clean. There is no RGB feature, so if you are an RGB junkie, this product is not for you. FUNCTIONALITY (1) PC: I use a Windows 10 system, and so far the functionality has been fine for me for the most part. At first, I didnt know why it just turned off after 30 minutes of being idle. It took me a while to figure out the fact that I can set up the headphones to automatically shut off, or just to leave it on (although thatd drain my battery). The nice thing about these headphones is that if you forget to power it off after shutting down your PC, itll automatically power down after a solid 10-15 minutes, which is great for power-saving. I also love how I can go back and forth with Game and Chat mode on my headphones. At first it was confusing, but with some time and usage, I got used to it and became handy when I utilise Discord and whatever game that I am playing. The fact that I can mute myself without using a mute function on my software has to be the best thing. Sometimes my friends find me suspicious or weird when I mute myself (I... dont know why), or sometimes if I have to sneeze/cough a lot because Im sick, this is a quick and easy way to excuse myself from others during a voice call. As for usage with gaming, it is very smooth and does not break or disrupt. The only time when it will is if you have a connectivity issue with your wireless hub thats provided (probably with your wire or USB), or your Internet connection (for any voice calls). (2) OTHER ELECTRONICS: I have tried using this for my phone, but the only issue is that your phone will not work with the wireless functionality, as it must be wired (wire for 3.5mm jack is provided in the package). Ive used it for my phone once, and never again. The headphones are kind of bulky for me to carry it around unless if I bring it for conference calls in business trips. COMFORT As a female, my head is smaller than an average male head and so sometimes I find my headphones slipping off here and there. The ear cushions are soft and comfortable -- Ive never found an issue with the cushions regarding comfort. CONNECTIVITY The fact that these are wireless are life-changing. If youve never used wireless anything, its really time to change. I can go from my room to the restroom (which usually causes disruption) to another room thats at least 15 feet away, and there is no disturbance or disruption. In fact, I went outside (right by my back door to the back yard) and I can still speak and listen to music/audio clearly. COMPATIBILITY I can only speak for Windows 10 (PC). It works perfectly with the system and Ive had no problems with it so far. BATTERY LIFE Obviously with any system, the battery life is pristine the first time you use it. The headphones have lasted me about 3 days of an average of 4-6 hours of usage/day. I would say thats pretty solid for a set of wireless headphones. The great thing about this headset is you can tell when the battery is going low by the power button light (will not be green) and the sound it makes when you power on/off the headset (will have a slower sound when power is low). Currently, I use the headphones for 4-6 hours a day, for about 3 days of usage, with just a single full charge. I charge my headphones when I do not use my PC (with my PC on since it is USB charge). NOISE-CANCELLING FEATURES This is the one feature I dislike about this product, which is why Im giving this product 4-stars. Ive noticed that the noise-cancelling feature is the weakest point of this product -- the sound leaks A LOT from the headset to the point where if I were to just leave my audio running with my headset off with medium volume, I can hear the music from about a 5-10 feet distance. Id say, thats not a good sign if you want noise-cancelling features. Luckily I do not care so much about this feature and my rooms door does that job, so Im okay with it. OVERALL 4/5 rating, mostly because of the noise-cancelling feature and my grip with these headphones. Otherwise, the general functionality, compatibility, and aesthetic features of the product is very satisfying. Its a great overall product, and Id recommend it to anyone who isnt sensitive about noise-cancelling features.

Greater than one weekIve been using these Arctis 7 since March 2021. These are the best Ive owned so far I previously have used 2 Afterglow and 2 Turtle beaches headsets and they all have their ups and downs but these are well off all around. For starters the Afterglows would die too fast likely because of all the RGB lights they have all around The Arctis 7 last a very long time and if your like me on a Ps4 they last you around 16 hours plus you can just charge while playing. The noise cancelling is pretty good i have had countless people walk into my room and i am unaware of their presence because i cant hear nothing but the game. The surround sound is amazing you can easily tell whether footsteps are on your left, right, above, and below. Now the volume of sound on these is what shocked me they are extremely loud so even if you are deaf you will hear everything perfectly. It was so loud I had to change the max volume input to the headset through the PS4 and its on literally 3 out of the 20 bars or so you have to pick from. ALSO THE SKI MASK HEADBAND DESIGN IS SO COMFORTABLE!

Greater than one weekI originally bought these in mid-2019. 3+ years and 2 moves later, these still look and perform like new (all though I did buy replacement pads to freshen it up last xmas). Sound customization in the Steel Series app works great and lets you make very precise changes to your sound profile. The surround feature is software driven, of course, and allows you to expand or contract your the sound stage to your liking. My single complaint is the lack of THUNDERING bass. Dont get me wrong, it does a good job, but when shells are falling around me I want to feel the boom, ya know? Anyway, Id definitely buy again. For the money, this headset beats out my Corsair and HyperX stuff no prob.

> 3 daySo first off, I cant go into much detail with this headset because I returned it after 1-2 hours of use for design choices and personal reasons. Pros: -Sound was amazing compared to my old Logitech G332 headset. -The software was easy to use and allowed me to adjust the EQ and mic levels separate from windows mic levels. -Wireless worked right away, and the buttons on it were just fine for me. -Seemed like a high quality build with good materials -Mic level, not quality, was just as good when pulled out vs pushed in Cons: -Heavy for me -Earpads were uncomfortable with my glasses. After an hour the frame of my glasses was hurting behind my ears. -You would think leather would be better in some cases. Not for me. It was hot, sweaty, and just uncomfortable. -Mic was SUPER loud at full volume. Turned it down to 20% in the software to get a good level. -While switching in between my old logitech G332 and this one, my friend who I talked to the most in discord, said the logitech sounded way better and its no that great of a mic to begin with. -The most annoying thing to me was the dongle. If it were a tiny usb dongle like youd find on a keyboard or mouse, awesome. (Guess I didnt notice it in the pictures) But its a circular dongle with only like 3ish feet of cord. It did have a line in and out for aux cords, but NO USB on it for charging from it. So I had to add the charging cable to my PC case (Would be nice if it could wirelessly charge from the dongle, then the dongle would make sense), (Currently I have a splitter for my speakers and headset so I can switch between without having to go through windows sound control works great due to the long aux cord) but this aux cord left me with more wires than before and a mess in front of my keyboard. -The included aux cable is also very short, mostly for controllers, but you can just use a longer TRRS aux cord if you need. -Also the mic is not spring loaded and would not stay in place. It kept rising up to eye level, over time Im sure itd break in, but since you have to push and pull it in and out, after a year or so I could see it bending and kinking. -I have ears that stick out a little and they were touching the drivers. For the price of $120 at the time I just couldnt bring myself to keep them. If I have to convince myself to keep them then they arent what I was looking for. Going to try the Razor Kaira Pro or the Logitech G935.

> 3 dayId definitely recommend it to someone but minor caveat. Wireless version, used on PS5: Pro: -Its easy to set up, you plug the USB receiver into the PS5 and thats about it. -It sounds great, and mic is much better according to friends. I had the razor kraken prior. -Battery life seems excellent. Ive gone a couple days of heavy gaming without charging it and it was fine. Its comfortable, my ears dont sweat like crazy. Big plus there. -Dual volume dials for in game and chat audio. Helpful! -Used it in COD warzone and its definitely easier to detect footsteps. If you know what Im talking about itll make sense, if youve never played it it wont make sense. Con: Aside from the price the biggest CON is that Its not intuitive at all. Ive had it for 2 weeks and I cant tell if it turns itself on automatically when the ps5 turns on or not. I dont understand its charge level AT ALL. Instructions say its green for 80+%. yellow for whatever percentage but that doesnt exist. The mic turns red when its charging and turns off when its full.
