> 24 hourThis mousepad is great, this is my second one that I have bought. Very smooth texture. It does take about 1-2 weeks for the mousepad to flatten out and another 1-2 weeks for the rubber smell to fade away but it’s a great mousepad

> 24 hourThis product is great for low sensitivity gamers with an optical mouse. But it really isnt made for the newer laser mice with high precision. Now if you are a gamer that uses 400-800 DPI, this mouse pad is perfect for you. It will track extremely well and you will be able to fire head shots all day long. This is after all, what the mat was intended for. It has a large surface area, so that a low sensitivity gamer has a lot of surface to move the mouse around (ie turn in 270 degrees). This type of movement with a regular mouse pad is impossible with low sensitivity gamers. If you are a low sensitivity gamer, this will work perfectly. Now for the rest of us that use more of a mid to high sensitivity mouse. This is not the pad for you. I love the fact, that it covers most of my desk, but that is about it. Unfortunately, with my Corsair m65 laser mouse, this thing was too slow for the DPI I like. It would take large movements to make the mouse move where I wanted, and would have a very hard time making precise high sensitivity shots. The shot would either be a little low or a little high. On top of that, to move left and right, it took a considerable amount of arm movement due to friction it created. Meaning, that if my DPI was correct for shooting, it would be off for left to right movement. I recently traded it is for the Steel Series 4HD. I must say, there is a huge difference playing FPS with the pads. The 4hd is much more responsive and quick, the mouse glides easier and is more precise with my laser mouse. If you have a laser mouse and are a mid to high sensitivity gamer, opt for a hard surface pad like the 4HD. If you are a low sensitivity gamer, you will love this pad.

> 24 hourIve been using this mouse pad a little over a year now. every day, for 8-10 hours. It is incredibly sturdy and I never feel like it moves while Im gaming. there is very little wear on the pad itself, and it is relatively easy to clean. I would totally recommend this mousepad to anyone who feels unsatisfied by the thin mousepads of yesteryear. You wont regret it.

> 24 hourSo far it was exactly what I wanted in size and thickness, I would buy this again.

> 24 hourThis is a large pad. Imagine, you are playing an action game. You activate a temporal invincible perk and jump into a bunch of zombies/psycho/tango ready to rampage them, but you cannot because your pad is not large enough to accommodate 180 degree turns. 15 x 17 inch is what you need to play comfortably. Your right hand has muscle memory to pick up your mouse when it comes to pad edge. No more mouse lifting. You have already spent so much money on components, spend well to pad. It is thick. It may not be practical but satisfying to see it.

> 24 hourGreat mousepad. Large 15 5/8 x 17 5/8 x 1/4 surface. Smooth surface allows for quick and stable mouse movements. Honestly one of the best purchases to improve my gameplay. Before I used an extended mousepad (11 x 34) shared between my keyboard and mouse, it limited my mouse movements and I would end up in unfavorable situations. Id say the extra space has increased my performance in competitive shooter games (Rainbow 6 Siege, Counter-Strike, Overwatch, Fortnite, PUBG) by allowing me more movement and successful reactions. (Ive been using it for 2-3 weeks now)

> 24 hourAs I was upgrading to a Logitch G700 mouse, I figured I probably ought to get something better than my old ratty too small mousepad to use it on. I knew it was going to be large, but wow! It gave me an excuse to declutter the right side of my desk. I initially thought I might cut it down a bit, but having used it for a couple days, its just really nice to know that I can use my mouse wherever my arm can reach with no concern about going off the edge (which I did with my old standard size pad.) My desk isnt entirely smooth and this pad is thick enough to deal with that. It also doesnt slip around like my previous pad did. I dont know about anyone else, but as soon as I spread this out on my desk it went flat by its own weight. It does have a smell of new tennis balls as has been stated, but its not overpowering by any means. As for how it functions, Im very happy. I dont need to twitch aim for any of the games I play and didnt want a pad or mat that the mouse would shoot across like a puck on an air hockey table. Its feel is very smooth with the right amount of damping friction to give me good control. Those of you who are really into FPS games might want something a little more slick. I consider it a good product at a good price. Consider that its at least four times the size of a regular size mousepad. Just make sure you have the room for it.

> 24 hourThis pad is LARGE! I play mostly FPS games and this fits perfectly. I own various pads, from glass and other plastic/composite surfaces. I like this cloth surface, to me, its smooth, but not glide like as my others. I find the cloth has more friction when moving it, but it is very smooth. The added friction helps me be more accurate, a plus in FPS games. No wonder this pad has been highly rated by professional gamers. If you have the space for this pad on your desk, or playing area, it is a definitely a must have item. It is shipped rolled in a tube, but once unpackaged, it lays flat. The thickness is also a plus. The bottom has a rubbery type material that prevent it from slipping and keep it flat. My recommendation get it, if this pad is too large, get the smaller version.

> 24 hourSteelSeries makes great mouse pads for competitive gaming. I was once internationally ranked in Half-Life 2 deathmatch, and I definitely owe some of my .357 headshots to SteelSeries mouse pads. They are also great for day-to-day productivity usage such as programming. The problem with this one is its comically large size. I mean, this thing could double as a doormat (in fact, thats what Im currently using mine for, though Im considering taking an X-acto knife to it and making four mousepads out of it) -- thats how plus-sized it is! As you can see from my attached photo (demonstrating its doormat capabilities, along with inclusion of my messy desk, keyboard, and other SteelSeries mousepad for scale), its just not a usable size at all, especially for any normal IKEA-equivalent computer desk. Make sure to order a different normal mousepad sized mouse pad, but definitely get a SteelSeries one because they are awesome!

> 24 hourI have two of these. Use them to protect my desk. Nice size.
