Edit: it’s been 8 months and it’s still not flat. Exactly the same way it was out of the box even after 8 months. To be fair I’m not using it, got a 5 dollar mouse pad I like better. Should have done something by now though. This comes rolled up and it won’t sit flat out of the box, which really messes with your mouse tracking. I had it sitting rolled back on itself on the raised spots on top of a radiator in my home. I figured the heat might help it to straighten out. It did, but it took at least 3 weeks of that with me changing the way it sat at least once a day to get it to lay properly flat. It’s still not perfectly flat, but flat enough I can use it. So I finally got the chance to try it. In the meantime I’ve been using a $5 mouse pad I got as a backup in case I didn’t like this one. Turns out I like the $5 pad much more. So I noticed a problem immediately after I started using this mouse pad. It doesn’t breath at all. It makes my wrist really sweaty. To the point it’s irritating. So I probably won’t be using this. I’m gonna toss it in a drawer somewhere and forget about it. Then occasionally remind myself that just because people with no standards review something as being good, that doesn’t count for anything when you’re a hardcore gamer. The tracking was fine once it laid flat. I liked the feel of it, it just bugs me when something makes me unnecessarily uncomfortable.

I use this bad boy with my Razer DeathAdder Pro V2 mouse and it does what a mousepad is supposed to do, and very well. Its comfortable to use.

So far it was exactly what I wanted in size and thickness, I would buy this again.

Im 62 and during all my computer years Ive owned many mouse pads although Ive never tried an expensive one until now. I absolutely love it. I love gaming and this mouse pad is perfect for keeping pinpoint mouse pointer accuracy. I smoke cigarettes and this is the first cloth mouse pad of mine that doesnt have burn marks even though ashes fall on it often (during the heat of the moment- lol). The material seems like its synthetic but I dont care (even though I like organic cloth). Its comfortable to rest my arm on even on steamy hot days (no air conditioner). Today it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit in my computer room...and yet my mouse pad...hand and arm didnt mind at all. Ive spilled coffee on it a number of times and it cleans up very easily with a washcloth and water. After over a month of using it, it still looks brand new. I saw that people complained about the surface being wavy when theyve first taken it out of the plastic tube. I bought the SteelSeries QcK Gaming Mouse Pad as well as this Heavy one and both were completely flat within an hour without doing a thing to flatten them. One final note- I tried a bunch of other mice I own using the pad to see if they worked as well as my regular (Evoluent) mouse on the surface, and the answer was yes, they did. This mouse pad is well worth the money. And for those who balk at the cost, think of it in this way. If I were to cut this mouse pad into 4 equal sized pieces, Id have four decent sized mouse pads costing me $6.25 apiece ($25 divided by 4).

Pros: -High quality material -Thickness helps for use on semi-uneven surfaces -Looks very clean and is a neutral color Cons -Comes packaged in a tall, skinny box This seems to be a reoccurring complaint, but the packaging causes the pad to be curved. It still works, but it is somewhat annoying. I have placed heavy books on top of the bad overnight for about 3 or 4 nights and it is still slightly curved. This is a problem, however I believe most mouse pads are shipped in the same fashion.

Ive been using these Qck mousepads since they were released, and Ive been a happy camper with them ever since. They do degrade in time, especially depending on what all you do at your desk and how well you clean it, but thats generally not an issue and you wont really have to upgrade for years in the best case scenario. Major gripe that I have is that it does come in a rolled tube, which makes sense in terms of storage, but man is it ever annoying to get to completely flatten. Spoiler: you cant. I would like to warn any prospective buyers that the sizes are quite large. Please be sure to double check the dimensions of each product before purchasing one. Had this happen to me, and I accept all the blame, but just be aware.

I absolutely love this mouse pad. I looked at every mouse pad out there and went back and forth on what to buy. I kept coming back to this pad though. In the end I decided this was the one that I wanted to try. I have not regretted buying this pad once since receiving it. The thickness is perfect. Thick and soft this mouse pad provides excellent rest for my wrist while I hold the mouse. My biggest concern was how the mouse would move on the surface. As it turns out this concern was unwarranted. The mouse glides on the surface of this mouse pad at a perfect rate. The size of the mouse pad is a tremendous bonus. I have a tendency to put my mouse in different positions on my desk depending on what Im doing. This pad erases any issues I have had with that habit as its so big I have difficulty moving it all the way to the top of the pad! One word of warning, if you have a cat, be forewarned your cat will also fall in love with the pad and start to lay on it. My cat often takes up half my pad when Im at my computer. Just keep that in mind if you have a cat.

As I was upgrading to a Logitch G700 mouse, I figured I probably ought to get something better than my old ratty too small mousepad to use it on. I knew it was going to be large, but wow! It gave me an excuse to declutter the right side of my desk. I initially thought I might cut it down a bit, but having used it for a couple days, its just really nice to know that I can use my mouse wherever my arm can reach with no concern about going off the edge (which I did with my old standard size pad.) My desk isnt entirely smooth and this pad is thick enough to deal with that. It also doesnt slip around like my previous pad did. I dont know about anyone else, but as soon as I spread this out on my desk it went flat by its own weight. It does have a smell of new tennis balls as has been stated, but its not overpowering by any means. As for how it functions, Im very happy. I dont need to twitch aim for any of the games I play and didnt want a pad or mat that the mouse would shoot across like a puck on an air hockey table. Its feel is very smooth with the right amount of damping friction to give me good control. Those of you who are really into FPS games might want something a little more slick. I consider it a good product at a good price. Consider that its at least four times the size of a regular size mousepad. Just make sure you have the room for it.

So far it is a great pad, only thing I did not like was that it came rolled up in packaging and it took a bit of time to stay flat.

    Greater than one week

Overall: I would highly recommend this mousepad. I would recommend the thick since it removes the need of a wrist rest for me since the wrist bone in contact with the desk is cushioned by the thickness. I have been using this for 3 years playing all types of FPS games using low sensitivity. 800 DPI 1 in-game for CS:GO and similar setting for all others to keep it consistent. I had an issue with the mouse cord snagging due to the thickness (even with a mouse bungee). Now I use the G305 from Logitech and its working flawlessly for my need. I wash it with soapy water and let it air dry when needed.
