> 3 dayMy son is an avid gamer and is picky about the gaming mice and mouse pads he uses. His old mouse pad was wearing out and he went on a search for a new one. He found this one and, at the time, the price was only $7.50 with free Prime shipping. I ordered it for him as a little gift and he really loved it. He was shocked at how huge it was (as was I) and how thick. He says his mouse glides along the pad great and he feels the pad will last a long time. It doesnt move or slide around at all and it doesnt allow for skips. The glide is amazing for a rubber type pad. Its thick, huge, and great quality. The price is now up to $15.00 but, even at that price, this mouse pad is well worth the cost. I was going to buy one for myself and the price went up the next day. It is on my wishlist and, if the price goes back down, I am snatching one. I am not much of a gamer or I would pay the $15.00. I just want it because it is so big and thick. This is a great buy.

> 3 dayProbably the best introductory and professional mouse pad anyone can get who isnt looking for something specific. QCK Heavy is such a widely used mousepad for a simple reason, its a decent size, the glide isnt too fast and isnt too slow, and the most important part is that its durable - unlike other mousepads the QCK heavy does not lose its glide even after extended usage - some other mousepads can wear as fast as a month but the QCK heavy keeps going for more than a year. The only con to the QCK heavy is the extremely cheap middle layer which results in majority of the mousepads having an uneven surface or a bump in the pad that can be felt with both the hand and a mouse gliding over it. Im not sure why they havent corrected that in all these years - its not something that makes the pad unusable but itd be that much more consistent if they used a higher quality middle layer. I dont use this pad anymore/currently but have used QCKs for multiple years. If youre a beginner or someone just looking for a durable cloth pad - this is it, there really isnt much competition in the durability department.

08-06-2025This is a large pad. Imagine, you are playing an action game. You activate a temporal invincible perk and jump into a bunch of zombies/psycho/tango ready to rampage them, but you cannot because your pad is not large enough to accommodate 180 degree turns. 15 x 17 inch is what you need to play comfortably. Your right hand has muscle memory to pick up your mouse when it comes to pad edge. No more mouse lifting. You have already spent so much money on components, spend well to pad. It is thick. It may not be practical but satisfying to see it.

> 3 dayThis is not the exact same product that you would receive if you were to purchase it on Steelseriess official website. My brother ordered his off of steelseries for a total of $38 dollars. We had some suspicion over the differences and quality of Steelseries mousepads sold by Amazon due to previous experiences. So I decided to purchase mine from Amazon for a comparison. There is a difference with the rubber found underneath the mousepad. The one sold by Steelseries seems to be from a newer revision or model. the multiple logos on the back are shiny when held up at a certain angle, when we did this with mine, there is very little shine, and appears to be of an inferior quality. This alone proves that there is manufacturing or product differences between the mousepads sold here and on their official website. My guess is that Amazon is carrying older models of the mousepad but im not sure. In terms of the actual surface, I cant say that I notice any difference at all. Both mousepads feel the same when using them with a mouse and when feeling them with my hand. I purchased mine for around $28, so there is a $10 savings when you choose Amazon. Im still disappointed that we received different products even when they were purchased within a week of each other. But I think the savings was worth it, and I think they are essentially the same product with minor differences.

> 3 daySteelSeries makes great mouse pads for competitive gaming. I was once internationally ranked in Half-Life 2 deathmatch, and I definitely owe some of my .357 headshots to SteelSeries mouse pads. They are also great for day-to-day productivity usage such as programming. The problem with this one is its comically large size. I mean, this thing could double as a doormat (in fact, thats what Im currently using mine for, though Im considering taking an X-acto knife to it and making four mousepads out of it) -- thats how plus-sized it is! As you can see from my attached photo (demonstrating its doormat capabilities, along with inclusion of my messy desk, keyboard, and other SteelSeries mousepad for scale), its just not a usable size at all, especially for any normal IKEA-equivalent computer desk. Make sure to order a different normal mousepad sized mouse pad, but definitely get a SteelSeries one because they are awesome!

> 3 dayIve been using this mouse pad a little over a year now. every day, for 8-10 hours. It is incredibly sturdy and I never feel like it moves while Im gaming. there is very little wear on the pad itself, and it is relatively easy to clean. I would totally recommend this mousepad to anyone who feels unsatisfied by the thin mousepads of yesteryear. You wont regret it.

> 3 dayThis is more of a 3.5 star review..... Its a BIG pad. I mean BIG.... And its a pad. I was used to the harder surfaces (Ratpadz) but after years of competitive, then non-competitive gaming I decided to retire my old Ratpadz due to the fact the face of it was starting to smooth out after years of gaming, and their lifetime replacement warranty is BS. I decided to go with the SteelSeries pad, larger because of the tech support I received with a SteelSeries mouse I purchased online.. When I read the description SteelSeries QcK Heavy Gaming Mouse Pad (Black) I thought it was going to be a Heavy gaming mouse pad. Heavy as in hard surface. But its one of those soft mesh surfaces. Which isnt bad by all means........ It just gets dirty and dusty quicker, and I gotta take my vac attachment to it to get the pet hair (and arm hair off.... hey, just being honest). -0.5 star for that Its also smelly. Like that rubbery smell. Out of the box its the worst. Ive had mine for almost 2 months and can still smell the rubber. -1 star for that Over all, its a pretty good gaming mouse pad. I play a lot of CS:GO, TF2, TFC, Day-Z, Battlefield, COD type games, even D3. I got TONS of room with this mouse pad.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best mousepads I have ever used in my life because of the low price point, the popularity among professional counter strike players, and the reliability. Some of the other mousepads I have used are the Zowie Gear GS-Rand the G240 by Logitech. One of the advantages this has over all of those is that the QCK has a generally better glide surface, is very flexible, and has a basic, good-looking design that doesnt fade. The Steelseries logo is printed so that it doesnt easily fade off, and true to this the mousepad has withstood a lot of dust and through washing with soapy water, it looks like new. With hard mousepads, the surface wears off quicker than the Heavy, and especially with QPADs. In the picture I included, I have a steelseries sensei raw on the pad- its thick enough that the mouse glides smoothly on even the roughest surfaces and has room for additional maneuvers, no matter what your dpi is (or for me, cpi). Ive begun the Counter-Strike journey with a 6x6 inch logitech generic, and now Ive gone from a 25$ 240 to a Celeritas that cost me 45, and now to this Steelseries. Its a special mousepad, and on the side note, if you go to CSGO majors, you can write on this with a white permanent marker or sharpie and it holds well. I swear, this was designed for the CS:GO player in mind. :)
