> 3 dayMy absolute fav mat. tried many other pads to see if anything is better and nothing beats it. I am a low sens gamer so the size is perfect for me playing at 400 dpi and playing 1.3 in game on CSGO with 6/11 windows. been playing CS since the Half-Life mod days and am a FPS gamer mostly and this pad shines where other dont. beware of fakes! I have gotten fake ones from Amazon before from private seller make sure to get from a rep seller like Amazon directly or Newegg otherwise you might get a chinese fake and sometimes even the private seller is unaware they are fake. just be safe when ordering and dont cheap out.

> 3 dayHonestly its hard to find fault with this product. Very sturdy and doesnt slide at all on the desk. The mouse glides across it as if it were slathered in butter. I tested putting stuff under it to see how well it adapts, and Im pretty impressed. I started off with a paperclip and couldnt even feel it. Next was a rubber band, and I could feel a bump, but it didnt slow the mouse down at all. Last test was a flash drive. There was a rather obvious bump, but still virtually no issues with moving the mouse across. Smells a bit weird (a bit like a new car), but thats to be expected with a lot of synthetic materials. At least it lets you know that the material is new and well made. Only complaint is that it came rolled up, and seems to want to stay that way, but Id imagine that after a few days of use, that will sort itself out. Cant attest to how it is after a long time of use, as I only just got it, but I dont doubt that it will hold up for at least a year without any visible wear and tear.

> 3 dayIve been using these Qck mousepads since they were released, and Ive been a happy camper with them ever since. They do degrade in time, especially depending on what all you do at your desk and how well you clean it, but thats generally not an issue and you wont really have to upgrade for years in the best case scenario. Major gripe that I have is that it does come in a rolled tube, which makes sense in terms of storage, but man is it ever annoying to get to completely flatten. Spoiler: you cant. I would like to warn any prospective buyers that the sizes are quite large. Please be sure to double check the dimensions of each product before purchasing one. Had this happen to me, and I accept all the blame, but just be aware.

Greater than one weekI got the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Gaming Mouse Pad (Black) and my very first impression was this pad was a LOT larger than I thought it would be. In terms of surface area it is about quadruple the size of an ordinary standard mouse pad. Which has its pros and cons but I suppose larger is better since it makes you feel like you are really getting your monies worth. If you have a small desk or not a lot of real estate on your desktop this would probably not be the best fit and you would do better to get a smaller sized mouse pad. I wish it was just a nondescript mouse pad without the funny looking logo on the lower left hand corner - the branding is not something I care to have. It does come curled up in a roll and days a few days to really flatted out. Being that this is a black pad I also observed that it gets dirty fairly easy ... the slightest dusk or uncleanliness will immediately show. Overall it is a great product and very good quality for gaming and productivity use. I wish they would have gotten rid of the logo/branding, and that the mouse pad doesnt get dirty so easily.

> 3 dayI have bought SteelSeries mouse pads for years as they fit my needs and last years. This pad is thick enough to prevent harm (carpal syndrome) to your wrist; correct positioning is crucial. Will continue to buy Steel Series thick mouse pads.

> 3 dayI was recommended this mouse pad by two different people. I was a little unsure at first as i had never owned a mouse pad this large before but as soon as i received it, i feel in love. The quality is very high; the material feels really nice. I recently started playing CS:GO and the size is so much better for this. Its definitely something you should buy if you play or are planing to play any fps game that requires accuracy.

> 3 dayDude, I just got this mouse pad today and wow. Blown away! What a difference a mouse pad makes for a gamer. Good quality and oh so smooth, I had no problems with it coming rolled up which worried me a little that I would have to stack some books on it for a while but no problems. I just rolled it out and put a little pressure with my hand stroking it and it was flat again. I used it immediately and I am very impressed because I am now able to do something I wasnt able to do with my old Alienware mouse pad (a hard surface mouse pad). I can finally quick flick in my favorite game CSGO. Also I can turn around super fast, I always blamed my mouse! In fact I purchased a new gamer mouse thinking maybe its the pad or the mice so I bought both, I havent even received my mouse yet so this goes to show, if you are having issues turning quickly in a first person shooter game this bad boy is your solution, no doubt buy it! Already recommended it to my gamer friends and to you as well. Of course its size is nice you never have to worry about how far you drag your mouse, plenty of room to maneuver. The price, like the other reviewer said you pay for about four mouse pads = this guy. Well worth it. If you have a tiny desk that has a keyboard tray be prepared to buy a new desk though, this did not fit on my keyboard tray but thats okay because my desk is large so I put both my mouse and keyboard on the top and the keyboard tray is now storage for papers. If you are in the US and have a Costco membership theres a desk for sale for $100 really sturdy glass top wooden legs and long tray. The pad fits nicely on top with keyboard and my widescreen monitor. Have fun I sure love mine and you will too, so thank you SteelSeries! I purchased your mouse as well cant wait!!! ^_^

> 3 dayId been using a World of Warcraft TCG mat as a mousepad for about three years and, frankly, it had started to fall apart and smell a bit. So, knowing these have a good reputation I bought one for myself and another for my wife who was also in need of a new gaming pad. Both have served very well thus far. They are comfortable, provide plenty of room for playing an FPS (my wifes primary need, while I just prefer a large amount of space for everything I play) or any other games, and stay in place. The only snag Ive had is that my keyboard is really thin so I had to adjust to the slight angle placing my keyboard on the edge of the mousepad brought on. My wifes chunkier keyboard leveled out really nicely on it, however, so its a minor hiccup.

> 3 dayAfter spending what seemed to be an eternity on a func 1030, I decided to come back big time to the cloth mousepad scene with this big boy. Its HUGE, make sure you have room for it. if you play with high sensitivity in fps( and by high sensitivity I mean doing a 360 turn in less than 2-3 inches of mouse movement) you have absolutely no use for this mouse pad, really. On the other hand, if you like the less than 1000dpi low sensitivity playstile (like most serious gamer do) then this is the absolute solution for you, granted that you either like the cloth or are willing to try it. I found a really superb experience from using it with a logitech g400s. I kid you not, my game became ridiculously better after switching from a g5 + func 1030 to a g400s + QcK Heavy.

> 3 dayOverall: I would highly recommend this mousepad. I would recommend the thick since it removes the need of a wrist rest for me since the wrist bone in contact with the desk is cushioned by the thickness. I have been using this for 3 years playing all types of FPS games using low sensitivity. 800 DPI 1 in-game for CS:GO and similar setting for all others to keep it consistent. I had an issue with the mouse cord snagging due to the thickness (even with a mouse bungee). Now I use the G305 from Logitech and its working flawlessly for my need. I wash it with soapy water and let it air dry when needed.
