> 3 dayThe mailbox is easy to put together after a long day of digging, filling, and packing dirt. The magnets are NOT strong as the product description states. I replaced the with Neodymium Magnets N42 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 with holes for screws and reused the steel plates. Now, it works great and the door doesnt fall open on its own.

11-06-2025Walnut color is really nice. You cant find this color in stores. Came fully assembled & just had to be mounted to the post.

> 3 dayBox is deeper than expected (a plus, looks great and is well constructed. Like that it came with numbers. Was fairly easy to install once I found a suitable 4x4 and ground spike, which added another $30 to the cost. Might give it 5 stars if it withstands the snowplow this winter.

> 3 dayBought this as a Fathers Day gift for my dad. Arrived quickly and in great shape. Instructions are very clear. Of course, my dad made me install it. Had a spare piece of pressure treated 4x4 and a quarter bag of concrete. Used the post hole diggers to dig hole to correct depth, dropped a largeish rock in the bottom to give the post some spacing, put the post in the hole and dumped a little of the concrete in the hole to cover the bottom foot of the post. Poured some water in the hole and filled the remainder with dirt. Box attaches to the post with like two screws. Took maybe 30 minutes to install total. Dads very pleased and mom likes that you can retrieve the mail from the back of the box. Overall a winner!

> 3 dayThis is a great rural mailbox. The walnut color blends in well with the natural surroundings. After being set up (using the suggested 4X4 and concrete footing), the free-range cattle in my area didnt rub it down into the ditch (like my other mailboxes). The mail carrier uses the extra newspaper opening for additional packages. My only complaint is that the instructions provided did not always make clear which sides of the pole and mailbox were front or back.

> 3 daySturdy construction. Easy installation if you drill pilot holes for the lag bolts to attach the unit to your 4x4 post. A ratchet is handy for driving the bolts home. So simple a monkey could it. Would recommend this mailbox over other high priced units. Should take you about 20 minutes if you have a Philips screwdriver, nut driver or ratchet and something to drill the pilot holes. Four sets of peel and stick numbers from 0 to 9. Easy peasy japaneesy.

> 3 dayI really like this durable mailbox. The dark color is great as it blends in with the environment and does not stand out like a big plastic sore thumb. I like that you can get the mail and the paper from both sides. It is not quite as wide as my last one.

> 3 dayThe walnut color is very pretty, and stands out more than the typical grey ones. It fit over our wood post from the last mailbox we had, with the same openings for attaching. Very pleased!

> 3 dayVery easy to install but would suggest applying glue to sides of mail box parts that slide together then screwed together. Love the product because area birds no longer sit on old wooden post to do their business all over post and mailbox.
