Step2 595200 MailMaster Plus Mailbox, Walnut

I got the mail box on time and was a nice sized box easzy to put to gerghth too. I like it vear much I have it up and ready to use and no time at all thank a lot

I am very happy with the price and quality of this mailbox. It was easily to install on an existing 4x4 post that was left from the last mailbox. My only criticism would be that the interior mail area is relatively small compared to the large size of this mailbox.

It was pretty easy to assemble like almost everyone said. I am a 72 year old woman so I don’t think I would have been able to manage this by myself. I had a younger neighbor help me. It was much harder removing the old mailbox. The total time for removing my old mailbox, assembling the two step mailbox , and complete installation was about one hour.

What a deal! Buy it. Easy install! Looks GREAT compared to the cheapos in neighborhood. Sturdy. Happy I made a great choice & got a good deal & didnt even have to leave the house! Big bulky heavy items are GREAT 2 buy online, lol. Yayyy me!

The mailbox was sturdy and looked just like the picture. It was easy to put up with another persons help. I also ordered the 2x4 that holds it up.. I am very pleased with the product.

The mailbox is easy to put together after a long day of digging, filling, and packing dirt. The magnets are NOT strong as the product description states. I replaced the with Neodymium Magnets N42 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 with holes for screws and reused the steel plates. Now, it works great and the door doesnt fall open on its own.

Well constructed and easy to assemble. Only thing that surprised me was the length of the 4x4 had to be fairly close to that specified with the instructions. Would definitely buy another if I ever need to do so.

quality product, would be nice if it included a few more numbers, wasnt enough to put my 3 number address on both sides

We had a similar mailbox installed on a post in the ground with concrete. In one of our latest snow storms the snow plow hit the mailbox and snapped it off just above the post. We still had frozen ground but with this system, we just unbolted the old broken box, slide on the new box, tighten the bolts and we were done. If we wanted to replace a standard mailbox we would have had to wait until the ground thawed. We really like the new walnut color as it is so different from all the others out there.
