This Journal in very good condition has coffee stains on the front of the binder, the band with information around the journal, the front 2 pages, and the stickers on the front wont come off. I was very disappointed in the quality based on the price and very good condition! I feel this journal should have been priced half the price I paid.

I work primarily in watercolor, journal avidly and regularly sketch out in the field - this is my favorite sketchbook. Its smooth and doesnt tear up my micron pens, so I can comfortably write to my hearts content. It holds up to multiple washes of watercolor and has yet to bleed or pill up on me at all...despite that its a thin weight, so its light enough to carry in my field bag, and it has plenty of pages so Im free to play around in it without each page feeling as precious as the typical 10-20 page watercolor juournals do.

High quality paper, thick and truly suitable for all manner of media including watercolor, tempera and other sloppy stuff.

This book is huge. I purchased this size because of Karen Campbell, Artist. I have other sized Strathmore Journals - it is a joy working in them. This size will be a challenge for me - lets see if it will become a favourite as well.

All the 7th grade art classes were required to get this book and all of the local stores were sold out. I was able to order and get delivered in time for the start of school.

Wonderful hardcover drawing, painting, sketching, anything you want book. Its just right to put in your purse. As a beginner to arts and crafts, drawing. Etc. This little book has very high quality paper and is thicker and more sturdy than the average sketch book. I will buy the larger one next time just to have more room. I highly reccomend this for everyone. I will journal, draw, paint,doodle in this very lovely book like pad.

I use mine mainly for gouache and it handles it fine, no bleed-through. Sketching is perfect on it, smooth paper. Made very well, binding is great, tons of pages, will last a long time! Great value for sure. Would buy again.
