> 3 dayThis sketchbook looks good and the paper Is very nice and thick (I even counted the pages because it seemed like more pages than described). Unfortunately, I will be returning the book because it does not lay flat when open.

Greater than one weekThis is the best mixed media journal I have ever found! I have been using these for over a year now in both my personal and teaching of art journaling and love it. The paper quality is excellent and handles a wide variety of media, including a decent response to watercolor. I have had no trouble with products bleeding through the paper even with moderate applications of spray inks. The paper is strong and holds up under heavy applications of media with or without a base layer of gesso. The spine has a little room for expansion, but it wont shut flat if you create very thick pages...this does not bother me though.

> 3 dayReally great value, smooth feel to cover, fewer pages than some competitors, but costs less. Paper is good quality, everything is cool. Go ahead, check and dig. Let me know if theres a better one, Ive been searching for many decades.

> 3 dayVery picky about my drawing books and paper in general. The book is well made, cover is nice and solid. Paper is of good quality for pencil drawings. I dont use water colors or markers, so cannot review as far as that goes.

> 3 dayI got this sketchbook in hopes to use it for watercolor practice since it’s 100% cotton, but it’s awful! The paper dries so quickly and after two layers of watercolor or trying to blend things out, the paper will start to pill. It warps horribly too. I thought ok maybe I’ll use it for alcohol markers but it’s not good for that either. It will also start to tear up the paper and using the markers in this sketchbook just feels weird. Like my markers are about to dry up. So far the only thing that works in the sketchbook is colored pencils. Doesn’t seem to be good for wet media but I haven’t tried everything. I just don’t think this is worth the money. There are better options for whatever media you’re interested in.

> 3 dayIt is really good for sketching! But the paper is not that thick. It feels thick tho. If you sketch in graphite or any type of pencils, it is really good! I actually tried writing it with my micron pens to see if it will work with pens but you can see the pen from the back. So its jusr really meant for sketching. Anyways, it is still a good sketch book tho.
