I doodle, watercolor, mixed media, glues, paints, lettering, drawing & all sorts of materials. I love this journal. For those who worry about bleeding through, I glue two pages together OR I use some scrap paper to back it. I bought two of these and will buy more great for all types of uses.

Great size but the paper quality is horrible. It can barely handle the water color and it also develops a weird texture when it buckles. You really cannot do more than one layer on this paper. It would be better to just make your own sketchbook from canson xl coldpress paper
