This product is over rated, not a strong light for the price.

I went through a few different styles of light for admin or navigation purposes while working in the dark. This is the best youll find. I have it mounted on my molle near the zipper, so it works great for writing citations or notes. You can bend it out to use as navigation in the dark or illuminate someone elses notebook while you stand cover. Buy one if you cop in the dark.

Probably my most used tool when working on patrol during my graveyard rotation. I absolutely love it and bought my partner one.

I like how it attached to my vest. The red light is also great to have for reading maps at night. Charging was a little unclear due to how it plugs in to a usb type charger. Its not the typical usb thing Im used to seeing. Its just a flat bar that inserts into a usb charger. Its possible to insert it where the charging points do not make contact. Wouldnt be a problem if I sprung for the adapter probably, but I didnt want to pay the additional. It charges just fine once you identify how to plug it in. I also didnt like that it only gets up to 300 charges before the battery life starts deteriorating quickly. Overall Im happy with it though.

This product works perfectly. Is the light super bright… no. But it’s design is perfect for what it’s intended use is. The built in usb charger is awesome. I have this clipped in a pocket of an outer vest carrier and makes ease hand-free note taking or other tasks at night. I would def recommend to anyone in law enforcement/ military or even an outdoorsman.

Have two of these, use them in helicopter. Seem to have about a 24 month shelf life then they get hard to turn on. I don’t use them often, maybe 10 times a month. Be a good thing if the makers would fix that, though I’m afraid accountants and marketing twits have made this a designed to a cost bit of kit. That said, I bought a replacement for the broke one.

It was a great light for 6 months until the flexible shaft broke. Ill see what the warranty covers then update my review.

Ive worked midnights and generally need my hands free. This clips on, easy to adjust the light direction, and gives off good bright light. I love mine so much I bought others who worked midnights, my dad for helping him see when hes tinkering on things, my brother- in- law for helping him work on miniatures. I love them, a lot. Highly recommend!
