Greater than one weekAs the blurb states, this is a rechargeable battery powered LED lighting device having four settings (red/white high/low). The device comes with a small block which acts as an adapter / transformer / rectifier to convert 120 AC V wall power into 12 v DC USB power. You can use any USB converter as well. Of note, the USB adapter is symmetrical making use a good deal less frustrating than the usual need to orient the USB male / female receptacles. The unit is light weighing only about 1.5 oz or 44 g without the charger. When attached to the brim of a baseball hat, I didnt even know it was there - aside from the light it projected. It was barely noticeable attached to the pocket of a heavy flannel shirt or jeans jacket but did pucker the pocket of a very light cotton shirt when attached. The clip is a strong spring unlikely to detach unintentionally. The light is rated at 70 or 10 lumens white and .2 or .5 lumens red. From a practical view, the bright white is suitable for bicycle riding or fast running while the low white setting worked for normal walking or, in one case, searching around the bushes for a lost knife. The low and high red worked well for chart reading (maps) close and normal reading distance respectively. The device is rated for zero to full charge in 44 minutes. I lived and sailed aboard small sailboats for a total of eight years often having to struggle with red filtered flashlights for chart reading at night. I may have not been willing to kill for a device such as this, but Id have done anything short of that to get one. This device is a boon to seamen or airmen both of who need to preserve night vision but also need to read accurately. Id add it will work well for a passenger in a car or motorhome who needs to look around the nighttime cabin without blinding the driver. The downsides are few. The switch on / off / change color switch (all in one) is much tougher to activate than Id prefer. Its awkward in use when attached to, say, my hat brim. The battery is lithium meaning its rated for 300 cycles and then will only hold a 70% charge. This makes it less than ideal for some uses such as daily bicycle commuting where one may see 300 cycles of charge / discharge in less than two years. There is a cartoon in the quick start card which looks like rain to me and a time of 1 minute. Im guessing that means it can be soaked (submerged? rained on?) for 1 minute. Im sure the uses for this are much more than Ive listed above as those are from my personal experience. I do know, that if I ever find myself voyaging at sea or flying cross country piloting my own light plane, I will definitely have one of these along. As it stands now, I have a nifty shop light for working on motorcycles as well as a light light to point the way when I do a nighttime hike.

> 3 dayI purchased this due to having to go on night shift for a couple of weeks. It attaches great to the suspension of a hard hat. The small flexible light stays pointed at what you aim at. I havent had to use it until the battery went dead yet. I dont have a true review of battery life.

Greater than one weekThis is my go-to, every day carry. I purchased it specifically for night vision preservation red light for astronomy. In this use it is perfect, but also perfect in every other use for a flashlight. Very bright when bright is needed, and very dim red light when night vision is needed. Build feels high quality and hefty. Highly recommended. Excellent price.

> 3 dayMy Third Hand! What a nifty (maybe pricy) little helper. I am a homecare nurse and many times need my two hands to perform a clinical procedure. Many times I need a positioned located light. Climate is the perfect answer. It is tine and fits into my scrubs pocket easily. The short gooseneck directs a strong beam of light just where I need it. Well done Streetlight for a great product. > 3 dayYou can’t go wrong with streamlight. They are my absolute “goto” for all flashlights. Plus they have always been amazing to deal with regarding any customer service/warranty claims.

08-06-2025I’m a Police Officer working night shift and this light is PERFECT. I love that I can turn it on and use both of my hands to do things like search vehicles, people, write, etc. my only grip (which is still not bad enough for a less than 5 star review) is the brightness of the red light. It sucks. I can’t see anything with the red light at all so I never use it.

> 3 dayI’ve tried a few different vest mounted lights for my work. This is by far the best. I can charge on my laptop, plenty bright to read/write by and do frisks/searches with. Should be department issue.
