Greater than one weekThe plastic this is made from feels less tough then my Stream light 4AA flash light. That said, the LED lights are better for travel as I do not worry about a xenon bulb burning out. Who can find a replacement in the middle of Montana? I did have occasion to use the clip for hands free viewing, this worked well but I have some reservations of the durability of the clip. The unit is longer, but lighter then my 4AA pro-ploymer flashlight which I have used for work for over 20 years. Stream light products are well made and the customer service is excellent.

> 3 dayGreat flashlight for universal duty; my favorite of all Streamlight flashlights. I especially like the fact that the main beam is reasonably diffuse, makes it much better for general tasks than the super-focused 1000ft beam lights. Two independent lights with separate switches, no cycling between modes. Ive had the light for almost half a year now, using it with rechargeable batteries and getting reasonable runtime. So far holding up well; I have no reason to think it wouldnt give as good service as my older Streamlights.

22-11-2024Ive put this thing through its paces since owning it, and have not been disappointed. Its very bright, and the option of a forward beam, as well as an independently controlled beam facing down (at your feet), make it fantastic for avoiding trip hazard around camp (or anywhere) at night. Id recommend it.

> 3 dayI have many different flashlights small and large. Some are much brighter rated. But this flashlight is just a pleasure to use! Uses 3 simple AA batteries for a very long run time. Most of my flashlights are metal like titanium, steel or aluminum, but this plastic body is just easier to hold and carry.

> 3 dayVery bright flashlight for such small batteries. Well built. Perfect for keeping on the boat. Streamlight make the best flashlights.

> 3 dayI recently visited abandoned places in Italy so I was looking for something that could take a beating and was highly reviewed since I know nothing about flash lights. I used this in Italy at a abandoned town outdoors and it barely lit anything up. It was enough to get by but my friend had a 20 dollar flashlight that wasnt even a brand name and it was literally 5 times brighter. It created this crazy massive beam. For now I will keep this flashlight as a backup and buy my friends 20 dollar one lol

> 3 dayI use the flashlight almost every day. I like that the batteries last quite a long time. The beam is very intense for the size of the unit. The switches are simple with a nice tactile feel. I liked my first one so well that I bought another. The down side is cost.

Greater than one weekIt is much brighter than my regular flashlights, so I was concerned about its battery life on AAs. However we recently spent hours working on electric in the basement with the power off and are still on the first set of batteries. The clip feature is also nice. I do need to get used to feeling the difference in the sides of this flashlight before turning it on in the dark. I have shined it in my eyes a few times, but the dual light feature is nice without the operator error! It also comes on very reliably, no shaking it around to get a connection like with some of my other flashlights.
