Search and Rescue aux lighting is a must, dependability is Job 1. During SAR OPs its a bad day or night for person(s) needing emergency assistance be it a downed AC, a missing/lost hiker with injuries. This is where the dependability comes into the picture when performing a pre-flight inspection on an AC. Often inspections are perform at night outside of a hanger where a dependable flashlight is a must checking flight surfaces, engine compartment etc. Having a dependable, functional flashlight with a proper light pattern (no dark spots) is key and a tremendous asset. Its yellow making it a cinch to locate if misplace. I own many Streamlight flashlights, headlamps and aux lightning. To date not one Streamlight has failed me. I pack this same Streamlight in my POV and on my person while camping, hunting, walking my four legged friend. This particular lamp is the latest addition to my Streamlight family. Im very pleased with its operation, works perfectly just as the other Streamlights I own. Its already been put to the extreme test in an unpleasant environment under harsh conditions. The (Streamlight 68750 Dualie 3AA Dual Beam Flashlight 140 lumen spot beam and 140 lumen downward beam is reasonably price, having a well constructed rugged exterior with easy to locate functional switches during low light/dark conditions, is water resistant with a light weight tough polymer body and very easy to locate by its bright safety yellow color. The properly sized hinged clasp is very handy when attaching to a shirt/jacket pocket or belt for hands free operation. Light output isnt overly bright but dont let that hinder you in purchasing one of these great overall lamps. Those that are familiar with dependable handheld lighting know this model is perfect for close up inspection of equipment, lighting a confined area, handy to grab out of a kitchen drawer for emergency lighting around the house during a power outage, even packing one in your emergency kit for the auto is a must. Works great at night going for a stroll walking Fido. Effective at lighting a dimly lit pathway with ease. I generally carry 2-3 flashlights at night, typically a high lumen blinding lamp, another in the 600-800 lumen range and the one in this review. Works great when walking/hiking, Ill switch both lamps on then secure it to my jacket pocket or vest using the long and wide hinged clasp so the wider beam shines outward and tight beam shoots straight down, making it highly effective covering such a large area directly in front and outward of your feet and wider pattern with coverage close to 180 degrees outward. Having both lamps on, directed down and outward is very effective while walking easily seen by in-coming traffic at the same time not overly bright that it blinds a motorist. I highly recommend this lamp with its many uses! Lt JGF USAF Aux. Emergency Services/Air Search and Rescue

I like these flashlights. Light weight and bright. Ive owned 3 so far. Only issue with them is they cant take much of a impact. Ive been at rest with one clipped to my belt, it comes off falls maybe 2.5 feet and the clip breaks off. Dropping will happen if your using it at work all the time. Redesign the way clip fastens to light.

I love these little flashlights. They provide very bright focused light as well as good area light if needed. Battery life is great as it is with all LEDs. I really appreciate that it takes AA batteries. So many high end nicer flash lights either take the more expensive cr123s, or theyre rechargable. Rechargable is nice but I didnt want to spend $100 plus on a flashlight. Ive replaced my old maglights with these for all my around the house flashlight needs.

This is the same flashlight that my son’s refinery in Sulphur, LA uses for their refinery fire department. It is durable and works fine for goats and chickens early in the morning and late at night. The amount of light is more than adequate.

The fact that unit uses AA batteries rather than cr123 is a plus in my book. Second, it has both led and regular bulb. I often find led is bright but washed things out. Third, you can have both on and see forward and down where your walking at the same time. Fourth, has a belt clip. Fifth, great price. None of my other lights offer so much at 2x the price.

Overall, a great dual purpose light. The clip holds the light in my shirt / jacket pocket securely enough when using the area light, but not if youre trying to run. The forward facing beam is on par with most other mid tier flashlights, with no complaints on my part.

LOVE the DUAL light feature! While walking the dogs at night the front beam warns cars Im along the curb and the down light beam shines on my black doggie so I can keep an eye on him and close to the curb until cars pass. It is a nice size, a tad large maybe, fits in jacket pocket pretty good. Love the bright yellow color, easy to find in glove compartment, the belt clip hook hooks up TOO good on my belt, tough to get off, Ill have to sand it down or hacksaw the lip a little. The hinge is strong now, but it will be the weak point eventually when I leave on belt while sitting down, but it will last for quite a while I think. Still testing battery life and durability. Its light enough but not a fly weight, its fine.

Was looking for a bright enough light to make my presence known when walking dogs at night on an unlit county road but not so bright as to shorten battery life. Found this light by searching internet and its great. The belt clip feature allows me to clip it on my jacket or shirt pocket in a vertical orientation and the lower intensity light shines the way forward. Its bright enough that oncoming cars can see it from 50yds but not a blinding narrow beam. This lower intensity beam is also ideal for working under the car or motorcycle because the flashlight can lay flat on the ground with the low intensity light facing upward so I dont have to use one hand to hold a traditional flashlight. The higher intensity beam is very bright and more tightly focused and is used most often for finding the path to the trail head if I stay on the mountain too late or for finding and scaring off whatever kind of night prowling critter is disturbing the dog at night. Excellent hand held light at a reasonable price.

    Greater than one week

Wranglerstar on youtube sold me on this flashlight. I didnt think Id like it this much, but between the size being just right and not having modes its just perfect. I find myself carrying it a lot more than I thought I would. The waterproof aspect is nice, I dropped it in freezing cold water and it still works great. This is a great all around flashlight, Id get a couple because theyre that great.

My husband wouldnt let me use his flash light.... ugghhh so I said, fine Ill go buy myself one meany. So this little bad boy showed up and now he wants to use my flash light all the time. The flash light is so light weight, love the bright color you cant possibly not ever loose it. I love the part to clip on your shirt and use the little flashlight. I especially love the clip part, I hang it on the branches above my grill and let it hang. Perfect for night time when I cant see the food on the grill. This flash light has been such a big hit around my house I bought 3 people one for Christmas because they liked mine. And, no, my husband wasnt included in those 3. HA
