I owen the the Streamlight Microstream. That was my EDC light. This WEDGE light though expensive is worth every penny. I do my best to buy made in the USA but currently I have not found a better light company. This is a well made light. Changing the pocket retaining clip from left pocket to right pocket to where your thumb is on the on-off switch tells me that someone was thinking in the development process. Having a USB C type charging capability is up to date. I have many C type charging plug just about everywhere. It fits in my pocket as claimed. The clip retention is stout. I saw someones post of a broken clip. To me that wont happen in normal use I cant verify the 1000 lumens but its a blinding light, which is exactly what I need if I get into trouble. Being a IPX7 is a plus. The switch, charging light, casing and light is high quality. The only negative would be the wrist lanyard. It might fit a baby wrist cause its very small. Its not even close to being a deal breaker. This will now be part of my EDC kit. Im expecting this light to last and be there for me in an emergency.

For the longest time I have used the same battery powered pen style stream light as almost every mechanic I know. Recently decided to go rechargable and originally intended to get the rechargeable penlight until I saw this. So after some use my honest review would be that the battery life is excellent & charges quickly the light is average (but sufficiently bright) on the normal setting and can be boosted to full bright temporarily if needed. It is slightly bulkier but sits well in my pocket and the thumb switch never gets hit accidentally (A huge advantage to the pen lights for me because every time I would squat down it would end up clicking the top button/turning the light on/draining my battery without me realizing it) the only thing I dont like about this light is I cant put it in my teeth and use both hands to do something when I need to like I used to be able to (Granted I do still try but its like holding a 3/8th ratchet in your mouth) and the light could be a bit brighter. If I could go back I would probably just get the rechargeable pen light. But to each their own.

This lasts for hours and It charges in a just few hours. I have a few of them so I can swap them out when needed but they usually last a full shift for me.

I work in data centers, so this light’s shape is awesome. I can set it inside if a server and it won’t roll around, or set it on the floor, or on a cart, while I use my hands to try and find cables or fallen parts. It’s a little big and kinda bulky in the pocket, but I just put it in a bag instead and that makes the size a moot point. All in, I’d recommend it for people who need light, while also needing to use both hands
