Greater than one weekIt was just a little to box for my EDC. I returned it and bought a smaller light for my pocket carry.

Greater than one weekFor some users this light may be ideal, but in many ways it misses the mark. PROs: The form factor is great for an EDC flashlight, and the clip has been sturdy, never failing to hold the light on my front pocket next to my EDC multitool. The thumbswitch is also ideally placed for quick operation and the light sits well in hand. The overall flat-sided shape also makes it convenient for placing on horizontal surfaces and not having it roll away. The light is quite bright and the beam very even though lacks any focusing ability. BUT... CONS: For my purposes (inspecting in/around electronic equipment in dark areas, backstage areas of live shows), the low setting of the light is MUCH too bright and because of its broad beam and no focusing ability, it illuminates much more than I wish. In a dark environment, the leads to glare off surrounding areas and because it is so bright, I lose ability to discern important details as everything is just awash in light. Which leads me to the second problems...battery life and heat. This light is not designed to run for more than a minute or so if hand held, because it quickly heats up in the area near the on/off switch. Forget the high power mode as it is not a locking switch in high power mode and requires considerable thumb pressure to keep it in high power mode. I have no idea how long it might last in high power use, but in normal mode, the run time before recharge is not great. I get maybe 40 minutes use over 2 days before it needs recharging, and the charge rate is very slow even when connected to a high power charger. Expect to charge this light every day under normal use if you use it as a daily and work in dimly lit areas. SUMMARY: If the designers of this light allowed a lower power setting, this might alleviate the heat and run time issues as well as make it useful for working in dimly lit areas. But at the cost of this light, I can buy at least half a dozen cylindrical tail button AA-battery compatible flashlights that work as well if not better in my use case. Its a cool flashlight, but misses the mark.

> 3 dayI like the rocker switch to activate, which produces a wide beam which is great for room or vehicle searches. If you need a temporary brighter light, you push the rocker forward on a momentary push, then it goes back to the wide beam. The wide beam makes searching for evidence better than having the typical spotlight that can drown out items.

> 3 dayI am a tow truck operator and I work in the dark at least 18 hours a week. This light has been a fantastic companion - I carry it in my pocket all day, everyday. The regular on setting is VERY bright, great for doing a walk around of a car to inspect before I load. The bright setting is great for finding houses in the dark. The included pictures were taken tonight, after 3 months of everyday carry. It continues to work great. I regularly leave it on the payment as a work light while hooking vehicles up or changing tires, etc., even in the pouring rain with no issues. Overall this is a great light for the right person. Its overkill for many, but if you work outdoors at night its a must have for your EDC.

> 3 dayThis is my 2nd one. Lost the 1st pissed that I did. I had that fir 2years no issues. It fits perfectly in my pocket doesnt get in the way. I have a smaller hand so that might be the case. You never know when you might need to see something in low light. Its just convenient to reach in a pull out this light. Plus its USBc changeable almost every single thing that I own uses USBc to change.
