Everything good

Light worked perfect for a while, but now the batteries or the the battery pack do not maintain contact all the time and light is now extremely unreliable. Also the coat hook slips out of the hook on my turnout coat, I had to cut up a small nasal trumpet and cover both top and bottom of the hook to stop it, witch it did. It has a smaller head than my old survivor, but I cannot rely on it, that hardy matters does it? Do yourself a favour, there are cheaper options that actually work, I found people complaining about this online as far back as 2005, I only got this light last year. Shame on streamlight for not fixing this, shame on me for not doing better research. I won’t recommend this light to any brothers on my job or any other, time to search for another option.

I use this light around the house and now that the days are shorter most evenings walking the dog. Lives on a little hook in the coat closet just inside our front door and hangs buy it’s metal hoop. The sturdy, trustworthy spring clip does a good job securing the torch to a jacket pocket at chest level emitting a tight, totally subtly sufficient beam in “Moonglow” mode. Couple of quick clicks of the switch toggle the light back to it’s first and brightest setting which is very bright indeed. Feels super durable and as if it will last a lifetime. That in mind, although It’s an expensive flashlight it’s totally worth it.

I love it. I got it for firefighting and EMS because 80% of my calls are at night due to college. Just got it so havent used on a call but it is very bright. It also fits great in turnout gear.

Exactly what I experted

I purchased this flashlight to replace one that came up missing a few years ago after a power outage. Once again, this light is the total package. I use to work in a steel mill, and noticed that all employees, from emergency personnell to operations and in between had one. Time tested and proven, this light handles it all. Very impressed, and glad to have another at my disposal!

Best investment as a firefighter. Would recommend. 10/10
