    I’ve been a career firefighter for 10 years and these survivor lights have been one the tools that I have found to be an essential firefighting tool. They are tough and durable enough for the rigorous extremes that firefighters put them through. One of the best lights on the market.

    The light wasn’t very bright and when putting it on charger it says to know when fully charged it would turn green and I had it on for a full day and light never changed and don’t stay charged very long.

    Compact, bright and lightweight. Not perfect as a work light due to being unstable when standing it up on its base. Maybe the manufacturer could come up with a snap on base for this function? I would like to see a utility harness that would accept this flashlight too. Probably not going to happen as most professionals are now using the cylindrical shaped flashlight style. It does have a good belt clip however. I mainly use it for house to car, out in the yard at night and for security. A good light to keep in your car emergency kit. Make sure to take the charger with you as it uses the same charger base for both 120 volt household and 12 volt car, just different cords.

The Streamlight Survivor LED (Alkaline Model) is a lightweight, hand-held light with a right-angle head designed for use in hazardous locations. The light offers microprocessor-controlled high and low lighting modes and emergency flash mode. It is the Brightest, Right-Angle LED Flashlight in the World. The Luxeon LED will never break or burn out, it"ll never have to be replaced. This ultra-bright, 3-watt Luxeon LED has a 50,000-hour life with 65 lumens. There is no need for a spare bulb. The deep-dish, parabolic beam generator creates a long-range (500 feet), focused beam, and ample side lighting for multi-use applications.
