> 3 dayI love switch bot, what started off as getting a small bot to turn on my work laptop before my shift turned into a deep dive into home automation! I bought 2 bots and 2 plugs so far and this even inspired me to buy the hub and an Amazon Alexa device which I never wanted but Ive found to be so useful to turn on my connected devices using Alexa! I absolutely love this and highly recommend, I will be purchasing more in the future.

> 3 dayWhen it is connected to hub, it works great. Mine occasionally disconnect from SwitchBot hub just 15 feet away. A bit too glitchy. Also, it will not handle a/c window unit 5000 watt. This was the main reason for buying this so when room temperature reached a certain temperature it would turn off/on a/c, but it keeps tripping off. Unless you are going to use it for a fan or light, I don’t recommend buying these smart plugs.

Greater than one weekThe timer feature turns on but does not turn off the device. Isn’t this device supposed to work when I’m not at home?

> 3 dayI got these to turn on a light in my bedroom at a certain time because I work overnights and my room is dark (I use blackout curtains) when I need to wake up. It definitely helps!! I already had the app because I have the automatic curtain open/closers from the same brand. I already knew how to set it up bc of that but the app is super user friendly for anyone using it for the first time!

> 3 dayI have only had these for 2 days, so cant review the longevity, but the devices seem like great quality and the setup was so simple. The app took no time to get from the app store (android). The signup was simple and only took an email address and PW ,then a verification code (-1 minute). I ordered 3 SwitchBot plugs and had them all plugged in and monitoring, with power on and off schedules in less than 20 minutes for all. PLUG 1. In our entertainment area, we have a 65in big screen, with a full size PC (mini KB/mouse) and audio all plugged into a power strip that plugs into one SwitchBot jack. I set several schedules to automatically power on in the early evening (just before we get home or are around to watch shows or surf), and then power off later every night. PLUG2. We have an attic fan that pulls air from the garage into the attic to vent/force both to the outside. The fan is a modern and powerful fan, but a big draw on power (want to monitor that). I set it to turn on in the late morning and off at 10 pm (fan has a thermostat, but I wanted to have it run for set times too). PLUG 3. The last one is hooked up to an extra frig/freezer in the garage just to monitor power consumption. I am not too knowledgeable about electricity, but want to monitor the power consumption info and figure out what it all means in the app. It gives real time KW, amp and volt readings, and exportable historical data. So far I am very impressed and highly recommend. A total bargain for these and what you get. I am exited to look at some of the other SwitchBot products.

> 3 dayWe have had a few different smart plugs in our home from TP-Link (Kasa) and Wemo. The TP-Link have been my favorite of those two, but I think these Switchbot plugs at least tie with the TP-Links. First off, they are small (for smart plugs), have good build quality, easy to setup and configure, and they havent had trouble staying connected to the WiFi (sometimes I get disconnection issues with the Wemo switches). Connecting to Alexa and Google Assistant was also really easy. The main way we use these smart plugs is through voice commands, and these have been really responsive and easy to use. I didnt like the app as much as Kasa, so if you plan on using an App to control the switches Id recommend comparing the two.

> 3 dayI bought these to allow zone climate control in tandem with thermostats for AC window units in my apartment. Despite the breakers for the window units being 15A and these outlets being listed as 15A, theyre tripping at 1000W which at 115V AC is less than 10A. If there was a way to disable overvoltage protection Id love them, but as it is I have to manually reset them 2-3 times a day when they trip.

> 3 dayI absolutely love having this around! I have lots of lights that I use for decor and in order to save money on electric I decided to buy this smart plug to set up a routine of when they turn on and off! I can even pair it with my Alexa and turn them off then, it’s inexpensive and has an app that’s easy to use, the company has wonderful customer service as well! Hope you all enjoy it! I sure do!
