> 3 dayWhen it is connected to hub, it works great. Mine occasionally disconnect from SwitchBot hub just 15 feet away. A bit too glitchy. Also, it will not handle a/c window unit 5000 watt. This was the main reason for buying this so when room temperature reached a certain temperature it would turn off/on a/c, but it keeps tripping off. Unless you are going to use it for a fan or light, I don’t recommend buying these smart plugs.

> 3 dayThis smart plug was so easy to install and configure. It took moments to unbox, plug in, add to the SwitchBot app and sync with Google Home (sorry Alexa). There is a manual button on the side and the switch feels very solid. You can even go nuts and use an NFC tag to easily automate this (and other SwitchBot) smart devices. Really happy with the plug so far.

Greater than one weekWant to water your plants Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday from 1:11 am till 12:02 pm? Me neither, but with the scheduling function on this thing, it would be really easy. Attach to a pump and work out your drippers/connections. This thing will make turning the pump on and off the easiest part. It connected without trouble, and after the schedule completes, it creates a log of it having been executed-- checkable anywhere, on your phone.

> 3 dayThis plug works exactly as described in that you can both turn the outlet on and off via app through wifi or Bluetooth, and through wifi using your preferred smart assistant (Alexa, Google Assistant, etc). The other fearure, which I was even more interested in, is the ability to detect and record the power usage of what is plugged into it. Unfortunately, the one I received was able to turn on and off remotely, but it would not detect power usage. I contacted customer service, and after getting information from me about the situation, their techs decided the power detection component was faulty and sent me a new unit. The new one has worked perfectly for over a week now, and I have found the power usage detection very useful.

> 3 dayI have a hard time in connecting this plug to my wifi, especially the app is a little bit confusing to use. At the beginning the code to authenticate to connect the device is a horrible experience. I tried to use SmartLife but unfortunately it isnt compatible. So, SwitchBot app is the only app working. One of the feature of this plug I like to use is the Energy Monitor, or real-time power meter via wifi/app in another terms. It works, when it is in high wattage usage(~1500W), it reports about 3% higher than it should, when it is in low wattage usage(~100W), it reports pretty close to the actual usage. So, keep that in mind, the numbers it reported appears to be reference only. The other feature I like which is not very commonly found in other Smart Plugs is that the safety shutter, which prevent finger or foreign objects plugging into the live/hot directly. The space it takes does not obscure the other outlet, which is good! I would not recommend to plug something high power for extended period of time like closing or above 1000W, cause the plug is getting warm/hot after few minutes. Otherwise, overall it is a good smart plug where you can log the power usage of whatever you plugged in! It will be more perfect if it can compatible other common app like the SmartLife/Tuya.

> 3 dayIve tried a lot of different smart switches and these are top of the heap for me. The app is very intuitive and they work reliably.

> 3 dayThis product was pretty easy to setup and install. I havent had issues with it disconnecting either. I had heard good things about switchbot and decided to give them a try but wow I really did not like the app. I have many other smart switches that use the Smart life app or the Tuya app that I was wanting to replace because these from switchbot have energy monitoring. Well Having to download another app + having to sign up for an account was pretty annoying. I signed up for an account without being given a choice and then starting running into problems with the app. Needless to say all the annoyances quickly outweighed the benefits for me. The SmartLife plugs are often smaller or the same size with dual plugs. These from switchbot are just too big, and with a mediocre user experience, even for the price. 33 stars, I wish I could like these but Ill be staying with my cheaper, smaller, and easier to use smart plugs.

> 3 dayI use this to control my power strip that turns on and off my lights for my kids indoor garden project. App is easy to use, you just plug it in and set the schedule. Done. If you want an app-controlled timer (keep in mind it is Bluetooth range only) its a good choice from a real company, not some jumblename knockoff.
