No installation required. We just plugged it into the back of the switch console and it’s ready to go. Once controllers are placed on the charge it gives a nice red light indicating it’s not fully charged and once it’s charged completely it lights up green. Doesn’t take up a lot of space either.

This charger works fine, and its nice that it can handle four controllers. It even changes colors to show when the controllers are charged. Its also the worst thing about it. They never turn off. It goes from red to green, and then just stays that way. Glowing. Not like that little LED on the switch glowing, more like the whole switch with a bright green screen. I can see to walk in the dark anywhere in my house when this is glowing in the living room. Like Im wearing those green night vision goggles.

Ive been playing my switch attached to the TV so I needed something to charge them without having to disconnect my gaming system. This works great. The two lights are green and when you attach the controllers to one the light turns red until they are fully charged and then it lights up green. You can charge two sets of controllers with this. We only have one but it might be nice to get another to keep one fully charged all the time. This plugs in to a usb plug which is not included. The other end is USB C. I probably didnt need this, but I love that it lights up to indicate if the controls are charged or not. I like the way it looks on my entertainment center.

Great for charging multiple joy cons, even the ones that are after-market brands. Not bulky, and sleek design. I love that it glows indicating the charge.

For such a cheaplu priced charging dock this thing sure is beast. It charges my joy-cons and even looks cool doing it! Its quite durable as well!

This protect does not charge the controllers all the way I but them on for 6 hours and only charged them half way

Handy! Nice to be able to charge a multitude of controllers I like that it lights up so I know if they are dead or charger

chargers well, small and compact, but the lights are way too bright. very distracting and it lights up the room when I shut the lights off
