Nice color and easy to use; however, one tiny flaw is that it does not adhere very well at the end where the power cord is attached. The simple remedy (for me) was to put a neodymium magnet over the end... that is, if youre adhering it to a metal surface, like I did.

They need to be more clear in the description bi only saw 1cm width. The product is actually 8mm wide. Returning.

The recommended 2A 12v power supply is barely adequate for the full strip. Although it may work, good luck not burning out the supply. I wouldn’t run the full strip on less than 2.5 A. The LEDs use 4.8 watts per meter. Plan accordingly. Rule of thumb is use 80% of rated power max.

No idea how they are because I failed to see they came with no adapter or any advice on where to find an adapter that would work. My fault, caveat emptor.

I’ve ordered two of these a month apart. The first one they replaced the transformer for me as it stopped working properly. The second set has been trouble free until the windows were washed. We have them on the inside frame (not window) and they adhered fine, worked well and then we washed the windows. They are water proof and have a clear rubber coating but it appears you can’t really clean the lights as ours had a connection break (inside rubber coating) while wiping down. Huh! You can see the break and now 1/2 of the strip does not work. I’ve thought about contacting the, again but the Amazon app can’t seem to pull seller information up correctly so review it is.

I bought these lights to install on my patio boat bimini top to provide interior lighting at night. I am very pleased with how it came out. The adhesive backing is pretty good, but I know from experience with similar products that you have to install clips every 12 to 18 to keep them looking tight and clean. For this installation Im going to use zip ties though. The cut points are every few inches. I bought two 16 lights and cut each in half to make 8 strands for the bimini aluminum cross pieces. For connectors I used interior style connectors and peeled back some of the waterproofing to expose the contacts. On a previous installation I tried using piercing vampire style connectors and they didnt work well. The color temperature and brightness are perfect for my application -- warm white and not piercingly bright.

Theses strips are awesome. For installing car audio and using small strips at times, a lot can be wasted. What was so awesome about these is that both sides are wired, so you can use both ends of the strip = less waste. Also, it seems these strips are more narrow than others. The only problem is will the adhesion, but that is the same with any strips I buy so I use something else to make them stick. Over all these are great. Will buy them again!

These lights are nice and bright and have plenty of places to cut to length. The water resistant coating works well and looks nice . . .but it makes access to the contacts you would need to get to for a cut section a little difficult. If you are skilled with an exacto knife and can solder looking thru a magnifying glass, you will have no problem with these, but after cut to length, they will not work with the snap on connectors without some trimming.
