> 3 dayLooks like it couldve been nice, I ended up pulling the terminal wires from the LED strip while installing. I do not think this was a manufacturer defect just my own negligence. Purchased to replace the eye killing OEM blue LED under my RV awning, and they fit almost perfectly, came up about 4 short, not a big deal I just centered them in the track. I tested after unpacking and all diodes lit up nice and bright, the adhesive is just was youd expect for not being 3M. I did have the awning track to install this strip in, so the adhesive in combination with the track, the lights held firmly in place. Well... At least in the driveway before I had to remove them. So in the trash with these ones and placing an order for another set. Couldve easily been a 5 star, but with the limited amount of time I had with them, I couldnt rate them fairly as a 5.

> 3 dayBrighter than I thought. I have not found a use for this super green laser looking light but I still plug them in every day just to see the green lights. I find the green light soothing for some reason, idk why. If I would have been given the option I would have wanted a power supply provided with the light but I always have one laying around. I also think I would like to have one of each of the other possible colors available to see how each one effect my mood, weird I know but interesting.

> 3 dayI got these lights over other similar ones because they were cheaper, and the reviews still looked decent. And theyre just that; decent. Very bright light, so I suggest purchasing a dimmer. Also, they are NOT resistant to humidity. Since its midsummer and I like to enjoy the milder days, Ive used command strips in periodic places along the lights to keep them up. But I cant really complain, since they were such a bargain. Theres room for improvement, but I was satisfied enough to buy another one for another room.

> 3 dayThese lights do not completely stick no matter what I do. Theyve fallen down numerous times & I thoroughly cleaned the surface with alcohol first & let it dry. They do not bend well, so they dont go around edges or corners. The connection also buzzes, which could be the adapter & not the lights, but dont know. Not worth the aggravation.

Greater than one weekThese seem like fine LEDs at a fair price. I believe Im not alone at running into adhesion problems. In my case, I was sticking the LEDs to a painted steel I-beam, so I think the surface was clean and had a good texture for adhesion, and temperature cant be a cause of failure (because the I-beam would dissipate any heat immediately). However, this was in a high-humidity basement environment, and so Im not terribly surprised that the adhesive only worked for a few days. In all honesty, I was expecting to need to do something else to adhere the LEDs rather than using the built-in adhesive strip, so Im not terribly disappointed.

Greater than one weekWhat happens when you cross low-cost/quality manufacturing with electricity? A fire risk. Enter this water-resistant LED light strip. After un-boxing I plugged it into an old 12V router power supply I had sitting around. Oddly, only about half the strip lit up before fading out. I put a couple pics up to show everyone what I mean. Curious as to how much was lit vs un-lit, I unrolled it and went out to find a tape measure. Because my garage currently looks like it could be on the next episode of hoarders, it took me about five minutes to find. This number is important, because when I came back inside I smelt the unmistakable smell of melting plastic. I quickly measured the lit portion at about 8 ft(out of 16) and went to unplug. Thats when I found out where that smell was coming from, the supplied 12v female plug was almost too hot to touch! I assume the +/- leads were somehow in contact with one another inside. This would lead to a drop in voltage and explain why there wasnt enough power for the entire strip of LEDs. So, I quickly snipped that off an soldered on another one I had sitting around and voila, the entire light strip now worked and I was no longer worried about burning my house down. Two stars for looking nice once fixed, minus 3 stars for the might catch something on fire issues. ***My Rating Criteria*** Build Quality(47.5%) - 0.0 Stars Efficacy(47.5%) - 3.0 Stars Post-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/a Packaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 5.0 Stars WEIGHTED AVERAGE(100.0%) - 1.7 STARS
