Great shaving cream. This provides a very smooth glide with the razor. Very nice aroma while shaving and does linger awhile afterwards. TOBS is a nicely priced for what you get making it a good value

I happened upon this while perusing for some nice shaving products. While I am trying traditional shaving with a safety razor along with this product, Ill review based on the the cream itself. Being a sensitive guy (1/2 scotch-Irish, German) I sunburn easy on the face, get razor burn on the neck and am prone breakouts too. I have been using a Schick Extreme 3 for quite a while. Gillette Sensitive Foamy, Gillette Proglide, Nivea, Aveeno, and Edge Sensitive Gel are all about the same. They lubricate the skin so much that razor cannot effectively do its job. Ive experienced a closer shave, the skin never gets aggravated really. I reapply numerous times, just as I have with the fore mentioned others (I shave against the grain). My skin stays soft, hydrated, while allowing the razor to get closer to the skin. The most significant difference, is that my skin stays white vs. slight redness, which I thought was just natural. I could actually see a calmed natural shave shadow that was ashy-smooth, against a white face. Not smooth with a redness as usual. The other great thing, is most sensitive products have no scent, which PMO!!! This has a nice light soapy, powdery, pleasant light floral and sweet musk(everything that embodies the barber experience) scent? It really makes one feel that youve treated oneself. Pricey: Yes, but Ive been able to eliminate $7 in Nivea post shave balm. Verdict: EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT

As a long time user of this product I hate to say I am beyond disappointed with my last order and replacement order as well. First order came in and part of it seemed to be missing, like it was a return or something. Also smelled funky, a stale old musky funky smell. So I returned and got a replacement. The replacement was smelled even funkier as well. Not only that but also dried out as well. So not sure what is going on but seems someone is selling used/old products or they are moving that fast at Amazon and are old as heck.

Pricey and doesnt smell that great to me personally. I bought it to see what fancy shaving cream is about and it just seems like more of a hassle than anything. After 2 uses Ive found I simply prefer using my standard Barbasol sensitive skin shaving cream. To each their own.

This cream offers a light yet majestic scent and it produces a gorgeous lather effortlessly! I switched over to this after using the Old Bond Street Sandalwood scent and I have absolutely no regrets... this one is a keeper!

Great quality and really enjoy this scent. Scent doesnt linger so wont interfere with your cologne. Also try Eton and Mr. Taylors.

Ive tried a lot of shave soaps and creams over the past 4 years of DE shaving. A lot of soaps are over drying, some soaps cause me a tingle or burn on the second or third pass of shaving. Ive had poor results/skin irritation with proraso blue and white, WSP, mama bears, Tabac, Barrister & Mann, and a few others. That says nothing about the companies themselves, just their soaps or creams cause my skin to tingle or burn. If youre like me and have struggled to find a great scent with equally great results - then try TOBS Jermyn Street cream. The smell is unique, but I find it to be very barbershop-like and not too strong comparably speaking to TOBS sandalwood. There is a touch of sweet powder scent but some darker scents in the mix as well to keep it very masculine. My GF loves this scent and I do too. I highly recommend you give this one a try. If youre a shave hobbyist, then put this one in the rotation. TOBS also has great customer service if you email them direct. Additional info - I live in a very dry desert (not good for skin), the water here is super hard with lots of chloride and scale (my shower smells like a swimming pool), and my job requires that I shave everyday. Therefore, my face is always on the dry side and easily irritated with some of the creams/soaps out there. Ive also found some common ingredients that irritate my face during the shave to include tocopheryl (synthetic vitamin e), palm kernelate (some form of saponified palm kernel oil), and something about shea butter in shave soap also lends itself to irritation. Im sure some of the scents have irritated my skin, but I cant find a consistent string of EOs to avoid (TOBS designed the scent for their sensitive skin cream to be non-irritating). So some things that have helped: try some pre-shave oil (equal parts EVOO and Grape seed oil work great), use better water (i use a coffee mug of hot water from my distilled jug), and I no longer wash my face in the shower before shaving to avoid over washing and over drying my face. Ive found that TOBS cream is very silky and the silkier (if thats a word) the cream, the more gentle on the skin, IMHO. TOBS pH is still where it needs to be in order to make the beard easier to shave, but the cream does not seem to strip the skin of its natural oils. The post shave is very comfortable with all of the TOBS creams Ive tried, but the sensitive skin cream is very gentle on my dry face. No itching after, no burning during the shave, just a clean comfortable shave with a great one-of-a-kind scent. Edit 2/25/2017: I at one time thought this was a great cream. But within about a week or so of daily shaving with this cream, my face dried out, got flaky, and the burning sensations during use appeared. A lot of folks would have you believe the burning is from the advertised non-allergenic fragrance. Ive contacted TOBS (which has fantastic customer service) and was recommended to try their organic cream. But the price of that will keep me from it. I know this stuff has some great ingredients in it, but either its pH is too high for my skin, or there is a funny interaction going with having a strong base on my face while also trying to hydrate with the added moisturizers. Either way, I will not be continuing my use of this product or its brother, Sandalwood. To those of you who use and love TOBS I wish you well. I am going to try their 57g shaving puck of soap in the blue tub that I picked up on the cheaper side. Ive researched all of the ingredients in the puck, and they all compare to other products Ive used without irritation. In the meantime, its Omega shave cream in the tube. Non-irritating and leaves my skin feeling great.

Decided to try out this sensitive skin shaving cream from Taylor of Old Bond Street as I do tend to get redness when shaving and thought this might help. But after using the Sandal wood shaving cream from them as well I much prefer the latter and will be repurchasing that as soon as Ive used up all of this shaving cream. The sandal wood has a much better scent left on your face after the shave and it also felt like my face was smoother compared to using this cream for sensitive skin. The pros for both is they last me a freaking long time before having to restock.

This shaving cream is very nice indeed. The cream is luxoriuosly thick and the scent is quite pleasing. Shave results were fantastic and I look forward to trying more of the Old Bond Street products.
