It works but the trigger slides to the side of the spray button. It is so sloppy it is difficult to get it to spray. I drilled a shallow hole in the back of the trigger that fits over the spray button and it is better but the slop still allows the trigger to move off to the side.

The adjustment is basically useless and the trigger sometimes pops sideways but $35 its not bad for an oil spray gun

All and all it did the job, trigger is a floppy peace of plastic. Thats probably the only downside of it.

Cup will not lock and falls off ,trigger does not work properly , I wound up spending more money and purchase a good quality undercoating gun

I purchased the Global Rustproofing Gun to spray Fluid Film on my Jeep Wrangler. The gun did not work well in spraying the Fluid Film, even at maximum air pressure with our large, 2 stage air compressor in our shop at work. Spray was very intermittent at best and basically would not spray either the Fluid Film or lacquer thinner that I used to clean the gun. I subsequently obtained a different spray gun to spray the Fluid Film.

The spray gun would work only with the standard nozzle. I was using it to spray RP 342. The gun required the air pressure to be between 60 and 80 lbs of pressure. The extension wands are not usable at all due to the small diameter. The small diameter creates too much back pressure and forces the fluid out of the vent hole in the cap of the gun. I solved this by using a 1/4 inch brass barbed hose fitting and soldered the threaded end shut and cross drilled it to make a 360 degree nozzle. I used a brass double ended compression coupler which has the same thread as the standard nozzle on the gun end and and 3/8 inch clear plastic flexible poly tube to the barb coupler. This worked very well at about 60 pounds air pressure. It is true that the trigger does not always line up with the valve. The cap does not tighten to the cup very well but you can take a pliers and grab the locking pegs on the inside and outside of the fluide cup and gently bend them toward the inside of the cup which will make the lid secure. Giving the cost of this gun to others on the market it can be made to work very well. AS for the trigger put some epoxy on both sides of the trigger where it meets with the air valve. Unless your willing to make these modifications I would not recommend this gun.

Works fine besides the plastic handle has a lot of play in it and often slips off the valve button to apply film. Also gauge did not seem to work

    Greater than one week

Had to add clamp to hold the hose on to the sprayer, but no big deal, as it would come off if you don’t put clamp on it ( small one)outside of that good value for the money
